It may seem weird to go to the beach in November, but I live in southern California where a chilly day at the beach is still about 60 degrees. They went to see Beowulf, which I have no interest in seeing.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Since the trailer reveals that the movie version has Beowulf having sex with Grendel's mom instead of killing her, one can only sadly conclude that this was yet another literature-based movie made by some other Hollywood asshole who's never picked up a book in his life.

I failed my first driver's test for passing to close to someone standing in the middle of an unmarked, two lane suburban road (with no shoulder) talk to someone in a truck, so I feel your pain.
