Moron Painting
This is for me. Feel free to avert your eyes.
If and I repeat, If I ever paint again I will take a couple valuable lessons from yesterday.
1. Slather the paint on the walls. I think I was too timid with the first coat, including the primer. This led to the necessity for yesterday's work.
2. Beer. Beer makes everything better. My recommendation is at least one beer per wall.
3. Taping is overrated. Using a brush with a fine point and some care produced a much better end product. There was a lot less mess and frustration as well.
4. A clean cloth to wipe up drops and misplaced brush strokes from item #2 is invaluable.
