I is in New Jersey. Sweet be it, and there is a good time a happenin. (there, that should repel any Colins trying to read my lj).. j/k colin.
So New Jersey has been fun. I've enjoyed my trip here, even though I haven't really done much. It has been good seeing my family, which, if any of you don't know, almost entirely consists of New Jerseyites and Foreigners. Not Foreigner the band.. screw that. British types.
Yeah, I'm coming back early tomorrow morning. At least, that's when I'm starting to come back. I'll be back before 4:00pm cause I have to work then.
Emily I miss you tons. And thanks for understanding that I needed to see my family. Not that there's much to understand, that's about it, actually, but you understood very much. I love you and I hope you had a good week, even though you're still Asbestosing and Leadding. I have told my family how awesome you are and shown them a picture or two of you, and they want to meet you. I told my grandpa you think he's scary and now he feels bad. ... okay no he probably doesn't but my grandma yelled at him (a la : "See John! Don't do that when you don't even know people!") hehe. I love you.
So, sounds like school has sucked this week. I'm glad I missed it. I may have spent exorbitant amounts of money and driven my car so much it hurts, but I enjoy and deserve this vacation.
I drove here on Monday morning, but I didn't get here till 3:25pm. It took 5 1/2 hours from Montpelier, where I had stopped to talk to my Dad for 1/2 hour. Not bad timing, really.
When I got here (here being my Aunt Maureens house, avec cousins and Uncle) I hung out, played some X-box with Mike (cousin) and hung out more. The next morning Mike (being a bigger video gamer than even I) bought Madden 2006 (it came out that day, he bought it at 10:00 in the morning.) and we played that on and off all day, it was pretty fun.
The next day (yesterday) I went down to my Grandmas house and saw my Grandma and my Grand-peh-peh. He has a rock that has "Please turn me over" engraved on one side. I turned it over and on the other side it says "Thanks, that feels great." lol. That's my Grandpas humor in a nutshell. It was good to see them, and my mommy, who was there too. We let baby (their little fluffy black and white dog) run after the geese, and had a grand old time.
This morning I drove back to my aunt mo's (it takes an hour and a half to get from one to the other) and I helped Lex (autre cousin) weed the bricks on the pool (the grass grows between the bricks) and then we went swimming.
Then I came inside, and voila, here I am! I'm driving back at 8:00 tomorrow morning to make sure I have enough time to get to Johnson by 3:00. I should pull in right at 3:00.
So, I want to go to Montreal sometime soon. I haven't been there in a while and I need to practice my french.
