(no subject)
departure in 6 weeks and 2 days.
i am excited. i had my internship meeting today, but instead of talking about where i might work, we talked about ireland and poland, and the interviewer told me he'd have to point me to his favorite vietnamese restaurant when i arrived.
i set up this livejournal for a couple reasons. these are the reasons:
1. to document my experiences using a medium that others can read if they wish
2. to separate this journey from my life at bu up to now (mylaststar12)
3. to stay in touch with friends from home and hear about their doings while i am 10,000 miles away
ANYBODY IS FREE TO ADD ME AS A FRIEND TO READ WHAT I HAVE TO SAY
unlike at home, i will not base my self-worth on how many people reply to each posting i make. when i was in california, lauren was the only one to ever reply, and i cared. now, if you reply, i feel great. if you don't, i go outside with my '79 skateboard or my to-be-purchased bicycle and try to avoid deadly crocs and flying dingos.
