Wonderful news
It is with great pride and happiness that I bring these good tidings from the Coronation of our new Majesties, Uther and Anherad (I know the spelling is wrong).
During the first court of TRMs, Maedrun ferch Trahearn (Maedha) was called into court. Richard was a little slow on remembering that he was supposed to escort her, but when they arrived at the Thrones, was told that there was "room for two" on the pillow.
Their Majesties presented both of my parents with their Awards of Arms. The herald had to speak louder over the wild cheers and applause.
I couldn't be more proud of my parents. They came to their first event five years ago to "see what their daughter had gotten into", and they dove right in. Since then, they have taught numerous classes, travelled far and wide across our Knowne Worlde, worked countless hours of volunteering, and unleased phenomial new talents.
More importantly than that, they touched lives. They have opened up their home as a place of learning and merriment, creating a safehaven, where all are welcome to come and share their strengths and gifts. Their talents and skills have been passed on to those wishing to learn of rapier, sewing, brewing, and countless others.
I guess the only other thing I can really say is this:
Huzzah, and it's about damn time!
