What's with me and violent dreams lately? My last three have been violent.
I won't explain the entire dreams {far too long}, just the violence in them.
Three nights ago:
I dreamt that I got into a fight with rapper Jin. We exchanged punches and he pulled out a gun.
Two nights ago:
I dreamt that three kids broke into my house. Two boys and one girl. I fought the two boys off while the gal sat on the couch. I got a BB gun and shot one of them and then proceeded to hit him in the head with it. While I attempted to leave the house {well, trailor actually}, one of them grabbed a knife and stabbed me several times in the arm.
Last night:
I dreamt that there were a group of guys who did everything they could to get under my skin. One of them spilled some red drink on me and I told him "If you do that again, I'm going to kick your ass." Well, he did it again, so I grabbed my glass of water and broke it across his face. Then I proceeded to pummel him while he was on the ground.
Violent, eh? It's weird though... in my previous dreams I was never able to run or to hit anybody hard. But in these past three, I've been able to do both. It's like I'm breaking barriers in dreams that I've never been able to. Don't know the significance of this and of all the violence, if there is any. I don't feel like a violent person, I'm actually pretty freaking content as of late. Work's good, my girlfriend's freaking amazing, friends are good, my car is now fixed. I don't have anything to be angry about.
Anyway, it's been awhile since my last update, so let me tell you what's been going on...
I went to freaking Florida for a week! It was... Matthew, Caleb, myself, Beck, Sara {for one day... long story}, Jersey Girls {Morgan, Gina, Carol}, and Steve and Jon for one night. It was amazing. We were about a football field away from the Gulf of Mexico, so we spent a lot of time there. I'd never been in anything that wasn't a lake, so this was definitely a treat for me. Hell, this entire trip was a treat, seeing as how it was my first vacation. We also went to a beach in Clearwater for a day and had a really good time there. We went to a few cool restaurants {RJ Gator's was my personal favorite, with our elderly, but very radical, waitress Wanda} and all-in-all it was a fantastic trip.
Also, got my car fixed yesterday. Anyway that has been in my car lately {particularly the ones who joined me on the Panic! concert escapade} knows that the brakes grinded horribly. It truly was unbearable. BUT! now my car doesn't make any silly noises and stops really well. Good thing my buddy Billy knows how to work on cars, because he saved me over $100.
I'm still dating the absolutely wonderful Gina. It's been over three months now {yesterday was 14 weeks. This is the only time I've kept track like this} and things are better than ever. People say that the first month is the best... well, I call shenanigans. Granted, the first month was truly amazing, but so was the second. And third. And month #4 is off to a great start as well.
And I think we're going about things perfectly. We didn't toss around the 'iloveyou' phrase like high schoolers, we hang out a lot but aren't overly clingy, we know that the other needs to make time for friends, we can be jealous without being possessive. It's freaking great!
So that's how I've been.
Now sum up your past month in twenty words or less. Gogogo!
I ♥ you all... as if you were my children.
