Awkward moments in history, part 2:
So my mom says to me "I'm going to introduce you to this nice girl I know, she's my friends' daughter". "O rly, a/s/l?!?" I reply. "She's a very nice girl, I think you can pick up a few things from her. She's 4 years younger than you".
My eyes went to O_O...
*Insert awkward silence*
Mother continues, "You know, that actually isn't too young. Really, you should be looking for someone about 7 years younger..."
At this point, I'm not really sure what to say. For I know that the words that would come out of my mouth would define me, and have people judge me for the rest of my life. So I say nothing, and quickly leave the room.
