Jon's wedding was kind of awkward. You could definitely see the budget behind it all. Weirdly enough I think that's the happiest I've ever seen Jon. He had a grin from ear to ear the entire day/night. I'm so glad Cara went with me. She got along with everyone, and she never once complained about anything. I didn't feel like I had to entertain her every second. Several times throughout the night I was able to leave her alone for a moment and talk with people. I loved the long car rides too.
I think I may have had a breakthrough in lucid dreaming. I had one last night where I did a reality check and it worked, and I felt lucid for a brief moment before the dream collapsed on me. Although I have been skeptical about it all. I hope it happens again tonight.
In the mood for a good, really old song? It's french.
Edith Piaf - Non, Je ne regrette rien
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3Kvu6Kgp88 I find it refreshing, in a way, that I can find the singing beautiful without understanding what she is saying. Gives a different perspective on how other countries love popular american music. I looked up the lyrics to it after I had heard it many times, and a rough translation would be that she is saying, "I regret nothing, and am moving on from the good, and the bad -- everything -- into nothing"
