As of today, Magic For Nothing is officially available from bookstores all over North America, and from import stores all over the world. It's been spotted in the wild from California to New York, with several points between also chiming in to let me know that they've got copies. Hooray

I am not finding this elsewhere, but it's possibly me being dumb, but is there word on the audiobook release?

(I can get the ebook and strip it so I can TTS it - because there is no way I am going to have time to read it with my eyes - and for that matter, books, I have a lot of books! But it would be cool to know, if anyone knows. I haven't gotten the audiobooks of any of these, but I'm getting more into the performance bit, and less into the super speedy robo-voice that had been my wont.)

Yeah, it's super weird. Usually the audiobook comes out at the same time so I'm pretty bummed. If you search in Audible there's no sign that the book even exists. I emailed the publisher. I'll let you know if they get back to me.

Well, the audible audiobook is now listed on Amazon.com as available

So, i guess there just isn't one? Strange. The reply i got was... not helpful but here it is:

(My audio retention is so much better. Of course, I then go and mess this up by listening to books and reading email or webpages at the same time, which is just dumb. There are rules - designing meshes, good. Writing code, bad. I just break them, and it's stupid. Though it does make books more re-listenable.)

Well, nevermind. It's available and that's all that matters.
