I'm fairly certain I pulled a trap muscle in the middle of my back. Holy christ does it affect everything I do(and hurt like hell). Ugh.

I'm not sure if it's a muscle or nerve but the last couple of years (every now and then) I get this shoulder blade pain that can only be helped with a TENS unit. I'm sure you've heard of them. It's basically electroshock therapy, and works better than pain killers. I don't know if you need a prescription to buy one but I highly recommend it.
