This week, like most others in fairness, has been rather influenced by Lindsay Lohan. So on Tuesday i was listening to all 26 sound files I have based on Lindsay. Not just somngs form her debut album Speak (in all good stores now :p), but songs that she sings in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen etc and random interviews on American Radio. Jingle Bell Rock from Mean Girls came on just as my mother was coming up the stairs. Her face hit this kind of "What?" expression. I was hysterical. She was all "Sean. Why are you playing Christmas songs just now?" I was all "hahah what?"

Then the conversation that i had been DREADING came up.

ME: It's Lindsay Lohan Mum
MUM: Who?
ME: Lind-say Lo-han
MUM: I don't think I've heard of her
ME: You have mum. You remember the hit 1998 film "The Parent Trap"? She's the little girl from that
MUM: The red haired one? The twin?
ME: Yes. We have this exact conversation all the time.

And that is it. My mum never remembers who she is. I'm gonna have to start putting pictures of her all over the house. The most succesful place I feel would be the wine rack. It's used enough.

But for you Lindsay fans out there.

Also, Lindsay's latest film over here, Herbie: Fully Loaded closes at 6. Well the last showing at the UGC is at 6. Of this I'm dissapointed. Surely there must be a prev fringe desparate to watch a Lindsay with breasts (it was filmed that long ago, yes). But no. It finishes at 6. Last night we went instead to see Dias Um Futbal or Football Days. A lovely little Spanish film based around relationships. All who went enjoyed. It wasn't a classic, but still entertaining nonetheless and certinaly not without its charm.

And for Lauren. I meant to show you this last night. His hair is errr . . . fabulous. But at least he's in the film. :/
