we are having 85+ degree days
we are not used to this
largess of summer sun
we gripe that it is too hot
we fume that we are damp in
all our hidden creases
we pout that the stores
around here do not have AC
but yet but yet
it is a certain
giddy freedom
to wander around
in thin cotton
and flip flops
day after
blessed
hot day
