I haven't updated since March 12. Maybe it's time?
Summer's started. I'm living in Cambridge the entire time, working at the EDC and taking a class second session. I really have no other real plans, but there is a lot to think about. I think I'd like to spend this Summer really evaluating what it is I'm doing, and what I want to be doing, focusing, centering, calming myself so I can better control everything.
Photography is life now. I got into a photography class yesterday FINALLY. Thursdays from 2 to 6.
Wait, schedule:
SC205B ENVIRO.& MANKIND GOLDSMITH, MICHELE TR 12:00-1:45
VM200F MEDIA CRITICISM & THEORY BAKER, JAYSON MW 2:00-3:45
VM231E INTERMEDIATE FILM PRODUCT KOLBE, JOSEPH R 6:00-9:45
VM265D PHOTOGRAPHY AKIBA, JANE R 2:00-5:45
and that's that. I plan on making the most of this class too. I want to spend all summer shooting and sneaking into the darkroom so that I can be in that mode before I even get to the class. This will be really good for me I feel, or at least it will get me out to places I've never been in Boston before. This will be a summer of looking at things.
I start work for real today (as it is now tomorrow, and I've still not posted this). I'll desperately looking for a way to make working there full-time less boring, which I know might be the hardest thing I'll ever do. I need to spend a lot of time planning for next year, so I suppose a good deal can be taken up by that, plans for films to be done, organizational ideas (FPS), Job hunting, and so much more. so much more...
