you all better be as excited as i am. even though the show is at roseland, which sucks, reggie will make up for it all.
Okay, well, here's the heads up on my life.
Tuesday night, saw static lullaby, lawerence arms and hot water music at the knitting factory. Good show, met some cool people, i liked the scene there. Hot water music put on a killller show, and a static lullaby were way too full of themselves, at least the lead singer. He spends at least 2 hours in front of a mirror everyday. i can tell. and they had groupies on the side of the stage.....who are they, nickelback? what the fuck.
anywho, i had a good time.
Wednesday, only two classes, and as i recall i did absolutely nothing productive with the extra time that gave me. go me!! THat night, alex, dave and i saw matrix revolutions. that was some bullshit. yeah, whoever wrote that script should DIE. Alex and i were making everyone around us crack up as we left the theater making fun of the movie though. It seemed like everyone agreed that it sucked.
In nyc it seems like people more readily talk to each other. I have never really talked to random strangers in the torrington theater back home, but maybe thats just cause that's a shitty ass town.

Thursday, who knows what happened during the day...OH. Presentation in Psychology. Holy shit that was funny. This kid christian was in my group, and he just happens to be this big jesus freak who sounds like mike tyson. strange? yes. hilarious? DEFINITELY.
so, he made this powerpoint that none of us had ever seen before, and the idea of the presentation was setting it up as a debate. well, for his "conclusion" slide, he went ahead and negated everything else we had said. yeah. thanks christian. i was cracking up though. there were also random september 11 slides throughout the presentation(it was about tv's effect on aggression in kids.....?")
that night, alli and i got into a sort of argument. I left it feeling bad, i don't think she felt any better. ugh, i hate it when things get fucked up. But by the end of the night it was all cleared up so no big deal.
SAW LE TIGRE!!! Holy shit, this is one of the best shows i've ever been to. The choreography they had was fucking awesome, and they had a video projector up, so there was a video to go with every song, it was just amazing.
