(no subject)
SO, graduation was tonight. AND I didn't cry, I was proud. I almost lost it during Libby's speech..but I held it in..
When we got in the car I said "Hey mom, 3 more years and I'll be going off to college too"...for some reason she didn't appreciate that, I mean, it could have been that her daughter just graduated from high school and all..but..who really knows.
I would like to thank all the seniors for making me feel welcome from the beginning..you guys really don't know how much it meant to me..or how a "Seals!" in the hall really made my days. I love you all and I will miss you guys soooooooo much!
SO on a less-sappier note...story time!
I went to the pool today with Smishley and I layed down in this chair where some person had there stuff in the back of it..so this girl comes and says "Umm, you are going to need to move, my brother has ALL his stuff behind you" So, I was like ok, and moved temporarily so he could get his stuff. THEN, Ashley wanted to lay down so I told her to move the girls stuff beside it, and lay down. So the girl comes running from the snack center and goes "You just moved my stuff...I was using that chair!" and we were like "ok, well, you weren't laying in it, so it will be ok for your stuff to sit on the ground" SO she starts flippin out, so finally were like ok, and Ashley moves because the girls swears she was just about to use it. And the girl picks up her stuff and sets it back in the chair and walks off.
I love physco-anal people. They make me happy. She will learn one day you get farther in life by being nice to people..or she won't, and it will kick her in the butt later..either way, I tried.
You REALLY deserve a cookie if you read all that...
OK, I'll be gone on vacation until June 11th and I'll try to put pictures on here when I get back...so leave a message!
