I haven't posted like at all for awhile...
Here is an image from a Halloween gig thingy of recent date where I came as FeralCatwoman. Here I am engaged in conflict with the house's miniature poodle. It stared me down. Remarkably...calmly.
The earlier weekend, there was another pre- Halloween type thing where my costume was used, because it was designed to be used in concert with the other batman villians. I built Two-Face's suit...for reasons mainly linked to professional pride and the fact I new how. Who knew the yards of orange fake fur I had bought years earlier would have a use again? What can I say...I'm a pussy. (heh)
Villians include: Poison Ivy, The Riddler (I made his cane!) The Joker, Harley Quinn, Feral Catwoman. Let it be known that everyone made their own costumes (well Two Face grew his own half beard anyway) and there was lots of creative crap that went into it. I've met most of these people by doing community theater in Rapid City.
This was good times, it also served as the after/castparty for the last show of Sweeney Todd. JT (Batman) was Sweeney and I was Claudetta Mincey, the "Mrs. Lovett" type character in the melodrama version we performed. It was such a fun show, I wish we were still doing it.
Now, there's a blizzard. A lame mess, indeed.
