I'm Loving Life

Gosh I haven't updated in a while for me. To tell the truth....I tried to kill this journal, lol, but I couldn't find any delete options, but it's just as well because now that I'm leaving I have a lot of stuff to say that I don't want to bore my friends with. So here I go..

I've had some of the best times of my life these past several days with my friends. My friends of Atlanta. That I won't see again til Christmas..cuz I can't come home for Thanksgiving. So...I almost spent the night at Rob's house. He, Josh, Stephen and I attempted to watch the LOTR trilogy. We stopped exactly half way through at 4:20am. They were falling asleep, haha I could've made it. But I didn't wanna spend the night cuz..I'm a girl I guess, lol. I dunno, but it was great hanging with the guys.

Then I went to lunch and the movies with Eric Oh and Macie. We took awesomely funny pictures utilizing movie posters at the theatre and had a taaaasty delicious chinese lunch.

I quit lifeguarding but got a hundred dollar debit card from the pool chairs. They also made all the kids jump in during adult swim for me to go save. I told them I was off duty and didn't care any more though, lol. I wish I jumped in and played along looking back on it though. But Ivana, one fo the guards I worked with from Slovokia made me a little flag/card. It was so sweet she called me her best friend! I think I'll actually ahve a foreign penpal in America!

So this weekend's pretty much been a blast, a non stop party if you will.

Saturday I met a lot of friends at the park. We played frisbee and ball and stuff til we got too hot. Took a picture of us being a human pyramid. Then the rest of us that didn't have to leave went over to Nikita's apartment complex's pool. But then it started to rain and storm and thunder and lightning...so we got out. Actually I got out, and being that I'm the lifeguard everyone followed my example, lol. It was kinda cool, everyone did what I did when it came to the water and the storm, everytime. So we ran around and played in the rain and sat in my hot new BMW for a while. Then Roya had to leave. Saying goodbye was hard...I won't see her for MONTHS! And she was the first of my friends I had to do that to. So then it was just me and the guys sitting by the jacuzzie waiting for the storm to stop. I stupidly sat between Josh and Justin who ambushed and tickled me lots. Then I had to go to Wes's wedding shower. Kinda bland, but oh well I got to drive my new car new places.

Yesterday was spectacular. Justin came over in the morning and we went to White Water! It was funny cuz we discovered we were both utterly broke. We were scrambling for change and pennies to pay for parking!! Then we proceeded to the rides and stuff. Good times fun times. He made me go on the Cliff Hanger. 9 story drop. I was like ok. Then when we got up there I was like.. "Did I ever tell you I'm afarid of heights?" haha but it was ok...I made it down alive. I did it a couple time with Laura when I was 11 anyway. Then we waited in a super long line for this new ride that wasn't there when I was a frequent vistor a few years ago. The Tornado. It was surprising. There was this big drop I didn't see coming. I SCREEEEAAAAMED! Haha my throat was sore. Then we spun around and stuff..it was cool. We got some dippin dots icecream of the future which made me happy. We also did the lilypad thing among other slides. Then we came back home and watched Bravehart cuz he couldn't believe I hadn't seen it. EXCELLENT movie...sad though. We couldn't finish it in time to meet everyone else bowling though. So we left it on pause towards thee nd and headed for the bowling alley.

At the bowling alley, well, we bowled. I do better with my left hand. Somehow I got on the team with all the guys. And we sucked at first, but then we kicked butt, haha. Yes I helped too. It was kinda annoying though cuz all the other girls were just chatting away with Ali..and...I like to talk a lot too...but...they like...forgot/ignored the game...and...I dunno...I just don't get the whole frivolous social butterfly thing. Neway so once again I sat between Josh and Justin...got tickeld and ambushed..Simon tried..but he has to learn from the pros, lol...neway...so...most of the night wa sme avoiding sitting between two of the guys. So Josh and I were hungry so we got everyone to walk over to Taco Bell...which closed minus the drive thru and wouldn't let us just walk thru...so...we went over to another restaraunt that kicked us out cuz they were "closed" as Justin said "They're so closed they can't let the people in, out!' HA! Oh well, so we went to our cars and met up at the Waffle House. Once again, somehow I ended up sitting with Josh and Justin. I never thought I could seriously relate to guys better or anything, but I guess so. Michaela abandoned us for the girly table with Ali anyway. It was nice though, Josh and Justin are great guys to be around. We ate a lot and we ate fast too. Maybe I am a guy, haha. Also I felt SO bad for the cook/waitress there...alone...when this HUMONGOUS group of people came in, filled up the ENTIRE place, every seat occupied. So I wrote her a little note on a napkin thanking her for the service, wisshing her a good night, giving sympathy for the unexpected crowd and to say hi to Laura who I think still works there for me. But the waffle I had was one of the best ever. Mmmm waffles.

So then we went into the parking lot...talked...said our goodbyes...many hugs for everyone...and Justin and I came back home around 1am. My dad normally sleeps on the couch but I guess they anticipated our late arrival and he took my bed instead, cuz my mom won't sleepw with him anhy more. So Justin and I finsihed the omvie in the living room witht he animals. Then he left and I found a blanket ona chair to use and I changed into my dad's big shirt I found lying around the office to wear to sleep on the sofa, haha. Not the best sleep ever, but it sufficed til he left around 6 and I could reclaim my bed, lol. It was a good night. Good day. Good morning even. I'm so happy about all we've done and the friends I've made here, and so sad I'm leaving them, and so excited to meet the new ones I'm making online at Eckerd. So that's it. I'm leaving in 3 days. Goodbye Atlanta.
