Part Two

Love. It’s one of those words that you hear everywhere even if it isn’t audible. Love surrounds the world in small ways to big ways, from subtle to profound. Even if there isn’t love specifically that people are being submerged in 24/7, 365 days of the year then it’s lack of love. What does lack of love lead to? The want and need of just what they are lacking, love. It’s always around. In music, in movies, tv shows, families, friends, random people you come across on the street. It is and isn’t everywhere. If love is such a dominant thing in our world, then one would think that it was simple. Of course love would have to be simple. You either love a person or you don’t. It’s black and white, no grey areas. There are no fuzzy lines only variations of love. Everyone thinks about it, everyone sees it, everyone hears it, everyone breathes it. And isn’t it exhausting?!

At least that was what Cho Kyuhyun thought. Love, one simple word, was the most tiring and stress inducing emotion in this entire world, no the universe. Love conquers all. That is what they say. Kyuhyun would agree with that state. Love does indeed conquer all, it conquers, lust, want, need, happiness, sadness, anger, hurt, desperation, bouts of insanity and insomnia, it conquers death even. Love truly conquers all, exactly why it is so tiring. There are even holidays for this silly emotion that takes up practically 99% of everyone daily lives. Do we really need more reasons to be enveloped with so many emotions that are beyond overwhelming on so many different levels? Kyuhyun didn’t think so. In fact he just got done giving a lecture, it was supposed to be a report, to his class on all of the above. As the tall, lanky, messily stylish deep brown haired man rubbed his temple staring out at his audience. There was no applause. Around half of the students had their mouths hanging open in utter shock and confusion to all that he had just spewed to him. A fourth of the students were truly interested and contemplating his words, from the ones who thought he may have some key points to the others who completely thought he was off his rocker. Then of course another fourth of the class weren’t paying attention at all, either sleeping, texting or doodling in their notebooks.

After another moment he bowed his head slightly and took his seat. To which two seconds later, his professor sputtered, “C-cho Kyuhyun you may take your seat.” The college student could only sigh and stretch out in his seat lazily. Even baffling the teacher, while that normally would be rewarding today it irked him. “I already did, Seonsaengnim.” He said in the politest voice that even the teacher couldn’t fault his rather rude and condescending words. The professor only took a moment more before collecting himself fully. He wanted to look efficient and as if he was in control so he collected his papers straightening them out before looking at the class and saying in his most teacherly voice “Alright, I think that’s enough for today. We’ll continue with the rest next time.” He nodded and then grabbed his briefcase, walking out of the room. Leaving the students to gather their things and follow suit.

Kyuhyun gathered his things semi-glad that he didn’t have to listen to anyone else jabber on with their sub par papers. As he made the way out the classroom door, something clamped onto his arm. Unfazed by it though he paid it no mind and just kept walking. “Oppa, how did your presentation go?” The chatter was instantaneous as he had expected. “How did you expect it to go, Soo Jin-ah?” He readjusted the strap of his backpack on his shoulder and continued walking through the corridors with the girl named Soo Jin on his arm. She was small and petite, round face with long silky hair that stopped a few inches past her shoulders. A pretty face, indeed that almost had the complete innocence of a child in it. “Amazing as always,” she gushed and then thought better of it, “but I didn’t want to assume.” her voice came out softly as she leaned her cheek against his arm, not having any problems keeping up with Kyuhyun’s fast pace.

A small smirk came and went across his face in a flash only to be replaced with a blank expression, the one and only that he used around campus. He didn’t mess around when it came to school and ignored the people who tried to get him to do so. Soo Jin was a slight exception to that. He stopped and looked down at the girl, “We’re here.” Her head lifted up quickly and she looked around to see indeed they had stopped in front of her class. This was their routine. Soo Jin would wait for Kyuhyun to get out of class and then he’d walk her to hers. Something she wouldn’t pass up for anything. “Oh, that was too fast. Oppa, next time lets walk a little slower.” She moved so that way she was standing in front of him but still had her hand attached to his arm. Tilting her head to the side slightly, her eyes glowing and a smile on her face, “Just a little?” with her free hand she made the indication of a little with her thumb and pointer finger, “please?” She waited patiently for an answer. Kyuhyun just stood there for a moment looking at her, contemplating his options. A second later his free hand went up to her face and cupped her cheek. “If I remember we will.” He then brushed her hair behind her ear giving her a small smile and nodding in the direction of the classroom. This only made Soo Jin beam from ear to ear, she jumped up and down a few times, clapping her hands together, “Oppa, you better! I‘ll see you later.” she turned to walk into her classroom but stopped at the door to turn back. Kyuhyun had already started walking away but upon hearing her speak he looked back, “Make sure you remember.” a finger was being pointed at him and then he received a wink before the younger girl disappeared into her classroom.

A hand landing shoulder, took his eyes away from the classroom and towards the new person that had to touch him. Shrugging the hand off, he wondered why so many people had to had physical contact with him today and in such a short time span too. “Have fun playing around with her again?” The person said making Kyuhyun sigh. “Who said I’m playing?” he almost growled out as the two fell into step together. “Hyung, when have you ever been serious about Soo Jin? She’s been following you for how long now and you’ve either paid her no mind or teased her.” Kyuhyun looked over at the shorter, slim guy with hair that he almost had to flip out of his eyes every two seconds. He really didn’t understand why his friend even bothered with that hairstyle, it would drive him nuts. Though he couldn’t say it didn’t look good on him. “Ryeowook, why don’t you just cut that off.” he made the motion of scissors with his hands at the air but close to his own hair so that way there could be no mistaking what he meant.

Ryeowook wasn’t phased by this at all. In fact he ignored it. “Since you’re not playing with her does that mean you’re going to stop doing what you do on the side now?” Sometimes Kyuhyun wished he had a wand or something so that way he could make everyone shut up or disappear and leave him alone. Of course the nosy friend of his would have to push this issue. “Why are you whispering? No one is around?” Even if people were around he wouldn’t have cared. His business is none of theirs and if they felt like eaves dropping then they could do so at their own risk. He wasn’t responsible for what they learned from it. “Why would I need to? Love isn’t something that I do. You know this. So therefore it’s not relevant for me to stop.” The two had walked to the main entrance now and both stopped at the gates. “It’s not something you can choose to do or not to do Kyuhyunnie. I keep telling you this, when will you listen?” Ryeowook just shook his head in disappointment. Kyuhyun patted his friend on the shoulder. “Just be glad you’re not in love with me and that’s all you should think about. Anything else is pointless.” He said with a smile and a nod.

Hearing his name being called he turned his head in the direction and kept the smile on his face as he saw someone jogging over to him. The guy was wearing a pink shirt but it looked good on him so Kyuhyun couldn’t complain. Especially since it was one of those shirts that fit tightly but without looking like it was too small for you. “Kyu, are you ready?” the guy asked as he wrapped an arm around Kyuhyun’s waist. “Sure Sungmin.” he saluted to his friend, “see ya later Wook.” he said as he slid his own arm around Sungmin’s waist and the two made they way out of the college to their private destination. Ryeowook waved once and then turned around making his way back since he still needed to go to class. He really didn’t understand what Kyuhyun was doing. Dating Soo Jin which was really just playing and then truly playing with Sungmin. Though, the guy seemed to know it was just a ‘for fun’ only type of deal. That was good but really? Who would want something like that? He decided he’d never figure it out.

----

Laying there with his arms behind his head, he watched as Sungmin put his clothes back on. For some reason watching the man do that only seemed to turn Kyuhyun on again. He slowly sat up not caring where the sheet fell. The two had obviously seen all of each other before and many, many times at that. Sungmin was good to have around. “You know,” he said as he stood up and walked behind the busy Sungmin who was starting to raise his arms to put his shirt on. Kyuhyun ran his hands down those nice defined muscles, to Sungmin’s shoulders and then down his torso to his waist only stopping when he got on the briefs that the guy was wearing. “I’m not sure which is more enticing, you stripping or putting those clothes back on.” He murmured right into Sungmin’s ear and then kissed his ear lobe. The shiver that went down Sungmin’s spine was noticeable, leaving a smirk on Kyuhyun’s face. His hands snaked to the front of Sungmin’s waist and slipped two fingers into his briefs. A small intake of breath was heard before words followed. “Kyu..I can’t not today.” A few more fingers slipped into the briefs, and Sungmin squeezed his eyes shut trying to ignore the instigator but not yet pushing him away either. It would be fun, they both knew that, a lot of fun but that doesn’t mean it can happen again. “Why?” he asked in almost a pleading tone. Kyuhyun would never plead with someone but that didn’t mean he couldn’t use his own means to sound close to such things to get what he wanted. He let his whole hand slip into the underwear then and wrap around the semi hard member. It was good to know that the little bit he had done was already effecting Sungmin. Kyuhyun liked that a lot, so he continued on with his teasing, slowly rubbing what he wanted to become fully hard. Now a sharp intake of breath was taken from Sungmin, which only made Kyuhyun grin more. He started to kiss along his neck, licking and nipping here and there as well. “Be..because I have to meet with someone.” Sungmin shifted his weight, what he was feeling was full of promising pleasure that he’d greatly enjoy but really couldn’t afford right now. Oh how tempting Kyuhyun could be. “Just make them wait some more.” He moved right up against Sungmin so that he could feel just how ready he was to continue further with what his hand was already doing.

Biting his lip, Sungmin grabbed Kyuhyun’s hand and pulled it out of his briefs while turning around at the same time. “I can’t be late for my date. That’s beyond rude.” He pulled his shirt on then and quickly grabbed his pants before someone could distract him otherwise. “You have a..date?” This was surprising. Not because he didn’t think that Sungmin could get a date, no that wasn’t the case at all. Lee Sungmin could definitely get a date, whenever and where ever he wanted to. Kyuhyun knew that for sure. He may not be the tallest guy but his lightly defined muscles, showed that he kept his body in good shape, his hair was glossy black which only seemed to compliment his deep obsidian eyes. His face while not quite a baby face, has aspects of innocence and those of a man who was cool and sexy. His gazes could be so intense that they sucked anyone in without warning. His lips were the perfect medium between full and thin and were always so very soft. Sungmin didn’t have a problem getting a date. Not in the slightest. What was surprising is that he was actually going on one.

Kyuhyun walked away and sat on the bed, he looking out the window of his apartment. “A blind date but she seems pretty enough.” A blind date? Sungmin of all things was going on a blind date? Kyuhyun just couldn’t wrap his mind around any of this. He didn’t realize that his lips were slightly pursed out in what anyone other than him would call a pout. If Ryeowook could see this, he’d have already snapped a photo as proof that the Cho Kyuhyun did indeed pout. “Alright hyung.” He said as he stood up and walked towards his bathroom. “Hyung? Since when do you call me that Cho Kyuhyun?” It was true, Sungmin was older than Kyuhyun, Sungmin wasn’t even in college anymore. He had a job, an apartment, his own life but the two had come across each other and started up this no strings attached relationship which was only used for moments of pleasure when either of them had the time to do so. Sure they would talk some times and had gotten to know each other a bit but generally that didn’t happen. It was no strings attached for a reason.

A crinkle in his forehead appeared, “Eh, well you are my hyung aren’t you?” he shrugged. “I’m gonna take a shower, you know how to let yourself out, right?” Sungmin had finished getting dressed by then and was watching Kyuhyun confused. A thought crossed his mind but he immediately disregarded it. That didn’t make any sense. “Yeah, yeah. See you around, Kyu.” All he got was a nod and then saw the back of Kyuhyun’s head as he went to take his shower. Sungmin walked to the door putting his shoes back on and made sure to lock the door from the inside before he left.

----

Sungmin had managed to make it to his destination on time. He even had time to change at home and still be at the park they had planned to meet at with a few minutes to spare. As he waited, he took in all the scenery. He really did love the outdoors and parks were just the place to leisurely enjoy what nature had to offer. His eyes were on a birds nest high up in a tree near by, with it’s branches extending over him when he head the click of heels on the pavement. Turning his head away from the birds nest he looked toward where the sound was coming from and let a small, but polite smile grace his lips. “Jung Soo Jin-sshi?” As the girl stopped in front of him a hesitant bow of her head answered his question. Sungmin took her hand in his and brought it up to his lips, barely brushing them against the back of her hand before releasing it, “Lee Sungmin. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He could see the faint flush of her cheeks, with the innocent smile that reached her eyes. Looked like he had made a good first impression. “Yes, it is.” Was all the nervous Soo Jin could reply with. “Shall we?” He asked, indicating to the walk that they were going to take she nodded and the two of them set off on their blind date.

----

Kyuhyun was a little miffed, as he annihilated the alien scum on his computer screen. He had been doing this for an hour and still wasn’t satisfied. Normally StarCraft was the perfect stress reliever for him. Stressed? Pssh, Cho Kyuhyun wasn’t stressed…just annoyed a bit. As to why he couldn’t even put his finger on it. Ryeowook, sat in a corner nose in a book. Honestly, he couldn’t understand as to why his friend even bothered inviting him over if he was just going to sit there and play StarCraft the whole time. “Kyuhyunnie, haven’t you had enough of that?” He grumbled, hoping that his very intelligent friend would get the hint. Kyuhyun was extremely intelligent but when it came to simple matters that weren’t academic he could be the most dense person in the world. “Almost.” a distracted gamer mumbled. A long sigh escaped his friend as he tossed the book on the coffee table. “You said that 45 minutes ago.” Standing up he walked over to Kyuhyun and stole the laptop, promptly shutting it as well. “Enough, don’t invite me over if you’re just going to play StarCraft.” Ryeowook held the laptop in his right arm and just stared down at his friend who was giving him a death glare. This was something that couldn’t scare Ryeowook anymore. In the past it was the scariest thing but now, nope, it was like looking at a cute bunny who was trying to attack you. It just didn’t work.

“Don’t. Do. That. Again.” Kyuhyun managed to get out as calm as he could. Ryeowook was the only person who would ever dare to do such an act to him. Everyone else knew not to do such a thing if they valued their lives. Ryeowook on the other hand was a survivor of such things so he wasn’t scared anymore. “Kyuhyunnie, I don’t need to listen to you huff and pout even though you’re winning at your game. Let alone for an hour. What’s up, what’s bothering you? Isn’t this really why you called me over anyways?” he sat the laptop down on the coffee table though on the opposite end of Kyuhyun and then took a seat next to his friend. Kyuhyun by now had put his elbow on the armrest and had his chin cupped in his hand as he looked the other way. “I don’t know.” he blew out all the air he had and then looked at Ryeowook, his eyes already calmed down and on the topic at hand. “Today’s just weird. Things are different. I don’t know what but I don’t like it. And Min wouldn’t give me another round. Maybe I’m just sexually frustrated. He always gives me a second..or a third or-” Ryeowook immediately put his hand over Kyuhyun’s mouth.

“I don’t need to hear about that. You know I don’t care what your sexual preference is guy, girls, bunnies, but I don’t need to hear about how many times you have sex with them. Ew. Just stop. You know my imagination always draws up pictures easily.” he shook his head trying to get the images out of his head. Kyuhyun pulled the hand off and chuckled, amused by his friend. “Sorry. I’ll try to remember. But really Wook? Bunnies? You need to fix that imagination of yours.” Ryeowook just put his hand on his lap and looked down at them. “Just don’t ask. Jongwoon shows me weird things.” He grumbled, speaking of the guy he had a crush couldn’t confess to. Kyuhyun didn’t even bother responding to that. He didn’t want to know. No, just no. “I really don’t get your infatuation with that loopy one but why don’t you just confess? You two have been hanging out more recently..obviously if you’re bringing bunnies into those types of conversations.” Inwardly they both cringed. “Not like that! It wasn’t I swear.” Ryeowook nearly squeaked out. “Anyways, I can’t. He’s not gay. He’s got SNSD posters all over his room.” Kyuhyun just blinked at his friend who was still looking down at his lap. “Sounds gay to me.” he muttered only to receive a smack on the shoulder. He laughed, “Sorry, Wook but just because he has really bad taste in music and girls, 2NE1 is better, doesn’t mean that he’s just straight. I mean you can be more than just gay or straight. Look at me.” Kyuhyun really was attempting to cheer up his friend and all of what he said was true. He wouldn’t give false hope or lie. Not to Ryeowook, never.
Flipping his hair out of his eyes he looked at his friend. “…I guess. I’ll think about it.” And he would. Maybe he just needed to test the waters a bit. Though even thinking of that embarrassed him. “You could always dress up as Jessica or Yoona or one of them.” Heh, that really amused Kyuhyun, “See what his reaction is.” This suggestion received a glare from Ryeowook. “I don’t want to look like a girl. I’m a man.” there was a mischievous look in Kyuhyun’s eye. “But you already look girly Wook-ah.” His friends eyes narrowed and it only just made him laughing. “I’m joking I’m joking…though you probably would look really-uh er never mind.” Seeing his friends face he stopped his comments. Sure Ryeowook was a guy but if he ever cross dressed Kyuhyun was sure that he would look ten times better than whatever SNSD girl that he chose to cosplay as. “If you change your mind I want a picture.” he muttered, not being able to resist adding this in because he really did.

The melody of a ringtone went off and luckily distracted both boys to dissipate the tension that had grown in the room. Kyuhyun picked up his phone out of habit, but it wasn’t his. It was Ryeowook and Kyuhyun knew that by the smile that had graced his friends lips that it was Jong Woon. That was good. He was still frowning though. After Ryeowook quickly typed a reply he glanced over at Kyuhyun who staring blankly at his phone and then it clicked. “Kyuhyunnie? Did you tell Soo Jin to leave you alone today?” His eyes moved from his friend to the phone. “Nope.” he said as he dropped his phone on the coffee table. “Ah..odd.” Soo Jin normally bothered Kyuhyun at least once every hour. Generally it was more than that but Kyuhyun’s hadn’t gone off once since he had been there and it had been over an hour now. “Maybe she’s busy.” he suggested now understanding what was bothering his friend. Funny, how he couldn’t see what was annoying him, maybe Kyuhyun really did like Soo Jin. Ryeowook was going to need to pay closer attention from now on. “Hm..maybe.” grumbled Kyuhyun as he pushed up from he couch and walked into his kitchen. “Want a drink?”

Ryeowook’s eyes were following every movement of his friend and it was clear that this turn of events had indeed bothered him. Interesting. “Uh..oh no. No thank you.” he stood up himself putting his phone in his pocket. “Kyuhyunnie..I uh..Jongwoon wants to go for pizza. You don’t mind if-” As soon Kyuhyun heard the name Jong Woon he knew what was coming. Cutting off his best friend and putting a smile on his face, ”Go. Confess while you’re at it. I don’t think he’s as straight of an arrow as you think he is.” Ryeowook hesitated on walking towards the door or just sitting back down. “I don’t-” Cutting him off again Kyuhyun went on, “If you don’t Wook, I’ll make sure you dress up as Jessica and take pictures and not the innocent kind either.” He threatened his friend, truly contemplating going through with such a thing. It would be amusing and he didn’t care about those kinds of things so it wouldn’t bother him. The smaller man squeaked and shook his head, ’No, no I’ll do it. Promise.” Kyuhyun just grinned, “Good boy, now go.” He nodded towards the door and Ryeowook left. He really didn’t want to dress up as a girl.

---

The next few days seemed to have gone back to normal. Soo Jin once again continued her incessant calling and texting. Sungmin made up for last the previous time being cut short and it only made Kyuhyun curious all the more. If the guy was going on blind dates, though frankly he didn’t understand why he wasn’t that old yet. 27 wasn’t so old he needed to worry about it. Kyuhyun was only 24 himself. Surely three more years wouldn’t really be that different than now. Why was Sungmin going on blind dates and still seeing him for their practically daily activities. He had never been interested in anything in the mans life before but for some reason this one aspect was striking a cord in him.

Soo Jin on the other hand had been acting normal until the next day. Kyuhyun was once again walking her to class but she kept fidgeting and was a lot quieter than normal. Stopping abruptly, he made her trip to which he promptly caught her and righted her. “What is it?” She looked at him blankly, “Huh?” Kyuhyun almost wanted to sigh but didn’t, he had caught her off guard he could at least give her that. “What’s wrong. You keep fidgeting, something is up spill. Am I wearing the wrong color shirt with this jacket or something?” Of course he knew better than that. He had a good sense in style for the most part. “No, no Oppa. You know I love this shade of blue on you. It’s my favorite.” He smirked because he indeed knew that was true but kept those comments to himself. “I’m just nervous.” In all the amount of time he had spent with Jung Soo Jin, which was a lot since they were neighbors since they were children, he had never once been confused by her. Nervous? What was there to be nervous about. Sure he had made her nervous before and it was on purpose, things were more fun like that but today he was being good in those regards. They were at school after all. Looking down at her as she continued holding onto his arm. “Why?” Soo Jin’s eyes wouldn’t meet his and she was being quiet so finally he lifted her chin with his finger until her eyes met his. “Tell me Soo Jin-ah. What has you so nervous today?” Once his eyes had captured hers, she could never look away and it was one of the things she loved but hated as well. “I-I have a date today.” Dumbfounded, Kyuhyun just stared at her. “What?!” Anything but those words he would have expected. Since when did Soo Jin have dates? She always turned people down because he was waiting for him. Of course she never said those words but they both knew it. Ryeowook could see it too. “Sorry Kyuhyun Oppa, mother sent me on a blind date the other day and..he wants to see me again.” He dropped his arm down by his side. “I can’t refuse and he was really sweet and all so…” She trailed off not really knowing what to say. Kyuhyun didn’t know what to say either.

He started walking again almost making Soo Jin trip once more but she managed to watch her balance and fall into step as well. They were both silent the rest of the way to her classroom. “Ah, go to class. Enjoy your date.” He said as he let go of Soo Jin and walked off. He didn’t even wait for her to walk into the classroom. Ryeowook had been standing across the way and saw the exchange. Kyuhyun wasn’t happy in the slightest and Soo Jin, she looked disappointed as she disappeared into her classroom. Seeing this he decided not to catch up with Kyuhyun, though he did trail along at his own speed. He needed to go in this direction for most of the trip as it was.

Kyuhyun was walking to the gate at a faster pace than he normally did. He was close to jogging but didn’t feel the need to go quite that far. Soo Jin had a date. How did she have a date? And was that why she hadn’t bothered him that other day. It must be. Just as he reached the gate his phone went off letting him know that he had a text message. Grabbing his phone he pushed the buttons unlocking it and then opening the message.

‘Kyu, I can’t meet like we normally do but I can compensate with a cup of coffee. Meet me at the shop a block from the college if that’s okay.
- Sungmin’

What was this? He wanted to have coffee instead? Kyuhyun didn’t even bother responding. He put the phone back in his pocket and started walking. He was planning on just going home but why shouldn’t he enjoy his free cup of coffee? Stalking off towards the coffee shop, which there was only one near by so it was obvious as to which Sungmin had been referring to. Ryeowook had watched this exchange as well, though it left him baffled since he couldn’t read the text message. He would just have to check on the guy later.

---

The bell jingled as Kyuhyun walked through the door, the two men both spotted each other immediately. There was already two cups sitting at the table that Sungmin was at. Kyuhyun walked straight up to the man and pulled him out of his seat, dragging him to the bathroom. ‘Hey, what are you doing?” Sungmin didn’t yell because it was impolite to the other customers but clearly got his annoyance at being handled so roughly like that across to Kyuhyun. Unfortunately for Sungmin, Kyuhyun could care less about his feelings right at that moment. He shoved Sungmin into a stall and locked the door behind them. There was no greeting whether in words or in motion, instead Kyuhyun turned them around so he could push Sungmin up against the back of the door and pressed his lips onto Sungmin’s hard. It took a moment but he got Sungmin to open his mouth inviting him in. Kyuhyun’s hand was already working fast and undoing the other mans belt and zipper. Rubbing against his member instantly changing it from completely limp to semi-firm. Kyuhyun wasn’t being gentle, he was kissing Sungmin roughly, biting and sucking on his bottom lip and almost growling at the man when he was pushed away.

Sungmin had turned his head to the side and yanked Kyuhyun’s hand out from his pants. “What the hell do you think you’re doing? You realize where we are?” he hissed with anger pouring out of his words. This only seemed to entice Kyuhyun more though. “I’ll be doing you soon and we’re in a public place so you should refrain from making any noise.” Was all he said simply, a smirk on his face as he pulled down Sungmin’s pants and dropped down. He was just as much as a giver as he was at a receiver. Whichever one he was more of depended on his mood. Right now he wanted to be in control and the way to be in control, complete control was to be giving that pleasure to someone else, in return you received your own sort of satisfaction. This was what he was seeking and it was what he was getting as he took Sungmin’s dick in his hand and started pumping away, every now and then he’d lick the tip, a quick flash across the top, sometimes slowly all around the head and then finally when he stopped playing around he took all of Sungmin in his mouth.

Sungmin wanted to bang his head against the door but he couldn’t. Things were happening too fast for him too keep up accordingly and get his obviously crazy friend with benefits to stop what he was doing. His eyes had long since closed as the waves of pleasure from all that Kyuhyun was doing hit him. The teasing was driving him crazy as such that his hands went gripped Kyuhyun’s hair and tugged on them whenever it became too much. At one poin the even forced Kyuhyun to take him in deeper. His hips were moving in tune with Kyuhyun’s mouth, that knew all to well just what to do to drive Sungmin so close to the edge but then stop right before he was ready for his release. After a few more hair tugs Kyuhyun decided to stop teasing and he increased his speed taking Sungmin all the way into his mouth over and over again. Sungmin was biting on his lip so that he wouldn’t say anything as he reached his peak and came in Kyuhyun’s mouth but he couldn’t stop himself from hitting his head against the door just once.

They both could hear the hurried flushing and scurry of feet as the newcomer in the bathroom got too scared to even wash his hands properly. “Fuck Kyuhyun. Fuck, fuck, fuck. What was that?” Sungmin asked as he looked at the man in front of him with his messy brown hair as he stood up, licking his lips making sure that he savored every drop. He just shrugged. “I needed it. Fix your clothes. I’ll be at the table.” He said as he reached around Sungmin and unlocked the door, letting it open and sliding past. He figured there wasn’t anyone else in the room after the scurrying they both heard so he didn’t mind.

Taking a seat at the table that Sungmin had gotten for them he took a sip of his coffee and frowned. It wasn’t hot anymore, lukewarm. Well, that was his own fault. He couldn’t really complain there. He was surprised though, it tasted as if it was fixed just the way he liked it. Two sugars and a little dash of cream, he was pretty sure he hadn’t shared these things with Sungmin but oh well. That didn’t matter. It was only a moment more as Sungmin, Kyuhyun wasn’t really sure what to call him, made it back to the table and took a seat, looking completely sated. This only made Kyuhyun smirk once more. “You needed it huh? Then shouldn’t it have been the other way around?” He asked raising his eyebrow at the younger one who had just completely dominated him in the bathroom but neither of them cared about that. “No. Not at all. I needed control and that’s what I got. You giving it to me would have completely defeated the purpose, though honestly I probably could have gotten it that way too but we’d need more time for that and more room. It’s much too cramped in there for much else.”

Sungmin had never quite seen this kind of Kyuhyun before, it was intrigued him. They were a good fit. For that kind of pleasure that is. It’s what he liked, there was no getting emotional from either end. Kyuhyun wanted to have fun and a release that he generally couldn’t find with other people and Sungmin wanted to fulfill those types of needs while he could. A relationship with a guy is no good. It would end as it should because people grow up, get married and have children. There was no avoiding that. Having a gay relationship with feelings was much too complicated and he didn’t need it nor want it. That’s not what was in his future. A wife was.

There wasn’t any sort of interest in each other besides their physical relationship. That was until now. Kyuhyun’s comments intrigued Sungmin to wanting to know more and understand exactly what he meant by this. To do that of course you need to know what happened before to make him this way now. That of course meant Sungmin needed to know details of Kyuhyun’s life that had nothing to do with the physical relationship the two were having. “Ah, well now that you’ve taken up so much more of my time than anticipated I really can’t meet with you. I have a date.” And Kyuhyun wanted to know again why this guy had a date. Another one that was once again interrupting. It irked him that he couldn’t get the kind of release he wanted, not completely. Not anymore. “Again? Another blind date?” Sungmin only shook his head. “This is with the previous blind date. She seems worth at least one more date.” She leaned back in his chair talking nonchalantly as he took a sip of his lukewarm coffee. Not the best tasting, though it was better than cold. “Psh, what a waste of time. She’ll just disappoint you in the end.” He grumbled but Sungmin heard him clearly and raised an eyebrow. “And just how do you know that?” Another intrigue point was popping up. If Sungmin was fully aware of this then he’d see the warning bells that were going off but he was completely oblivious for the moment.

“ They all do, I could go into a full explanation of this but then you’d be rude. Can’t be late now can you?” Kyuhyun was being beyond cheeky and he didn’t care one bit. Sungmin didn’t seem to either, he just let it all go. “Besides that though, there’s no way she could be better than I am in bed so if nothing else she’ll completely disappoint you in that area.” His words rang with truth being that truth was only what one fully believed without a shadow of a doubt. This did make Sungmin laugh though. He stood up and dropped some money on the table. “ I did say I would compensate for you. Bye Kyu.” Kyuhyun just nodded and continued to sit in his seat stretching his legs out. He ignored the strange look he was receiving from someone. It was probably the person that heard them in the bathroom, and if that truly was the case he could care less. Stare all you want it wasn’t going to change him.

Once he finished his coffee, he made his way out of the coffee shop and headed home. He needed to change before he went to work as well. On his walk back to his apartment his mind was filled of the things Sungmin said. Another date and with the same blind date as before. Couldn’t he do those on the days they weren’t meeting. “Oh..we have been meeting every day lately.” Damn, guess they had been relying on each other quite a bit more than they usually do. Hmm. He pulled out his phone so that he could text Ryeowook only to see that he had a text from someone else.

‘I hope you’re not upset with me, Oppa. If so, I’m sorry.’

He sighed and clicked on reply to start typing but mid-way through he stopped. Hadn’t Soo Jin said that she had another date with the guy from her blind date? Yes, yes she did…and so did Sungmin. Kyuhyun had the key in his door, ready to open it but instead he just let it hang there as he wondered if this was a coincidence or not. Surely, there was no way the two of them could be dating each other. “No, no that’s impossible.” He shook his head and then turned the key, unlocking the door and letting himself in.

---

Sitting on the bench Kyuhyun looked up at the sky. Ryeowook was next to him and Jongwoon was sitting in the grass. As to why the kid was sitting in the grass getting his pants dirty, Kyuhyun had no idea but he didn’t really care either. “Wook, did you know Soo Jin is dating Sungmin.” There was a spraying sound that made Kyuhyun snap his head in its direction. Ryeowook had his soda in one hand and was in the process of spitting all of his drink out at the back of Jongwoon’s head. “Yah!” Jongwoon jumped up rather quick when generally his movements were pretty slow like a tortoise. Wiping his hand against his mouth, Ryeowook attempted to wipe away the soda that was now all over his mouth. “Sorry, sorry. I didn’t mean to.” Once Jongwoon nodded and sat back down accepting the apology Ryeowook looked at Kyuhyun. “How could she be dating Sungmin, he’s all doing er bunnies with you.” Kyuhyun just stared at his best friend wondering if he had really heard him properly. What was his issue with bunnies? “Wook, really? You can say it ya know? Yeah, I’m fucking Sungmin but he’s dating Soo Jin.” Everyone had grown quiet. Ryeowook was taking in the information that had just been shared with him. Jongwoon was reading a book and Kyuhyun he was trying to figure out what the two saw in each other.

“Are you sure? How do you know? I can’t see that. Sungmin is gay. He is.” Snapping out of his thoughts that didn’t make any sense to him anyways he ignored his friends first two questions that he couldn’t’ answer properly and focused on the last comments. “He could be like me you know. Not everything is straight or gay? How many times do I have to tell you this?” He grumbled. Ryeowook explained for the umpteenth time. “I know there are other people like you Kyuhyunnie but Sungmin isn’t. He’s gay. Other gays recognize each other, so you couldn’t do the same.” Tuning things out was a glorious habit that one could use at the most opportune times. Like now. It was the same old thing and Kyuhyun really didn’t care to hear it once more. He knew it all by heart. “Well then explain to me how he’s going to sleep with Soo Jin when he comes to me so I can top? Hmm? Does that make any sense?” That was a really baffling concept. One that only seemed to make Ryeowook sigh and Jongwoon chuckle. Jongwoon leaned backwards against Ryeowook’s legs and looked up at the two of them. “Simple Kyuhyun-sshi. Have you ever offered to let him top or better yet just let him take control? Hm? Maybe you should try it. You might be surprised.” Kyuhyun’s eyes narrowed as he looked down at Jongwoon who was supposed to be reading a book not listening to their conversation and then he looked at Ryeowook who looked embarrassed. “Do you two take turns then?” Ryeowook’s whole face flushed and Jongwoon just grinned, looking directly at the brunette, “You should have found out when you had the chance.” He chuckled and then sat up again going back to his book.

Kyuhyun wrinkled his nose in disgust. It was one thing to want to see his friend cross dress, as it would not only be funny but he probably would be prettier, it was another entirely to sleep with him. Ryeowook was leaning down and speaking in harsh whispers to the one at their feet. “What do you see in this guy again?” He leaned over shoulder touching Ryeowook’s shoulder, “He’s really sweet Kyuhyunnie.” It seems that Ryeowook really did confess that night all because someone else was trying to come onto Jongwoon while they were together. After that the two were joined at the hip. “Hmph, you call that sweet..You guys really switch?” He couldn’t help but asking again and made his friends face flush again. “We haven’t gotten that far, he was just teasing you…though Jongwoon does have a point.” This gave Kyuhyun a lot to think about. He had never really thought about taking turns or bottoming in general. No, he just couldn’t. Bottom? Ugh, just thinking about it gave him the shivers. He was a top and that was that. Would Sungmin change though? Do both? Hmm..

He was deep in his thoughts when he felt someone shaking his shoulder. “Oppa, hello? Anyone home?” A hand was waving in his face as well. He instinctively grabbed it and looked up at the person who was trying to get his attention. “Oh Soo Jin-ah. Hi.” She looked from his eyes to their hands and then back to him. It made him glance to realize he was still holding her hand. He slowly let go. “Are you busy? Will you walk with me?” Kyuhyun looked over at the two lovebirds and saw that they truly were acting like it. Ryeowook was hugging Jongwoon from behind and whispering things in his ear while giggling at the responses he got back. Ew. “Nope, let’s go.” He hopped up and didn’t bother saying goodbye to the other two.

Holding his arm out for Soo Jin she took hold of it, staying close to Kyuhyun as they walked across campus. “Where to?” She pointed ahead at the gates. “I have to meet someone soon but I wanted to spend some time with you first. I miss our chats.” He started to nod and then he fully comprehended what she said. “Again? You’re meeting him again Soo Jin?” Annoyance was resounding in his every fiber. Not only was she meeting Sungmin again but as of yet he hadn’t had any cancellation on their plans which they had rather soon. He wasn’t sure which part he was more annoyed about. “Are you upset?” She asked hesitantly, not wanting to upset him more but if he was truly upset then it would mean what she had been waiting and waiting for to happen finally did. “Yes. What are you even going on blind dates for? You’re too young for that.” Kyuhyun was starting to raise his voice, their walking speed had increased as well and a moment later they were at the gates. It hadn’t taken them that long considering they hadn’t been too far away to begin with. “Oppa..you know how my mom is. She’s always talking about marriage and grandchildren, it doesn’t help that Unni went off and married someone without their consent. She’s just worried.” Soo Jin was looking down at her feet now not able to look at him.

Kyuhyun only sighed, calming himself down. Yes, he knew her mother very well and was also more than aware of the situation with her sister but none of that was really why he was annoyed. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to raise my voice.” he was looking down at her and made her raise her chin up with his finger. His eyes caught a glimpse of a familiar walking up and his annoyance was back in full force. He focused solely on Soo Jin then. “Do you really like him?” Her mouth dropped open slightly in surprise at what she was being asked, and she tried to turn her head, but he held her chin firmly in his hand. “Don’t look away. Do you like him Soo Jin-ah?” How was she supposed to answer this question to him of all people. “Nevermind. Do you like me? Answer that Soo Jin-ah.” She nodded as best she could without any hesitation. “Yes.” He pulled her into a hug, running his hand down her hair. His eyes flickered past her and to the approaching person. They both saw and their gazes held each others. “Good. Keep liking me Soo Jin-ah.” Kyuhyun continued holding Soo Jin and watching Sungmin’s expression. It was shocked, confused, maybe annoyed, jealous? Kyuhyun wasn’t sure there seemed to be a mixture and Sungmin was trying to keep his feelings on lock down, he could see that. “Okay, Oppa.” she said softly, being as she had been waiting for years for a moment like this.

Kyuhyun pulled away, “I know you can’t disappoint your mother too much.” She nodded, thinking about all the ways that she could get out of dating Sungmin without it causing problems to her mother. Surely there was a way. The person she liked was more than worth it. Plus her mother did like him as well. “You don’t have class right now?” he asked her not wondering anymore just what she was doing at the gates at this time. He had gotten out of his class early and Soo Jin hadn’t arrived yet so he went ahead with Ryeowook and Jongwoon but Soo Jin should be going to her class not out on a date. Especially a date that was in the allotted time that he had with Sungmin. No, that didn’t fly with him. “Oh um well..you see…” Soo Jin was playing with her fingers as she stumbled over her words. Kyuhyun took her hand in his and made her walk a few steps with him away from the gates, “Go on to class. Surely, he’ll be able to understand that your education is important.” she nodded, “Okay Oppa.” she smiled at him and walked on to class, her head in a daze. The girl had a silly smile on her face, completely on cloud nine as her precious crush had told her to like him and not some other guy.

Kyuhyun turned around and walked over to Sungmin with a smirk on his face. “You’re early.” He said upon reaching the man. “I had a date.” Kyuhyun looked around, “Oh? Guess that went well then.” Kyuhyun leaned his arm against the wall and crossed his right foot over his left. “Kyu, what are you doing?” Sungmin just kept his expression steady and neutral. Kyuhyun chuckled, “This would be leaning against a wall but I guess we should get going.” He stood up and nudged Sungmin as he started to walk off. “Let’s go.” The rest of their walk was made in silence. It wasn’t a long walk to Kyuhyun’s apartment but it felt extra long considering that neither was speaking to the other. Opening the door, he extended his arm, indicating for Sungmin to walk in first. Sungmin did but not without giving him a look that asked him just what he was up to.

“Alright, enough, what’s up. What was that display with Soo Jin and all of this?” The older man asked tired of the games that someone was trying to play. Kyuhyun started undressing, he was at home so there was no need to be as dressed up as he was. Taking off his jacket and pants he threw them into the hamper and then unbuttoned his shirt a few buttons before finally taking a seat on the couch and stretching his long legs out. “So, you are dating Soo Jin..hm..” He nodded slowly, “There was no display. Soo Jin’s liked me for ever since we were young. As for all of this,” he waved his hand around, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Sungmin walked over to Kyuhyun and stood in front of him. “Stop playing games, Cho Kyuhyun.” The pair of eyes that were staring into Kyuhyun’s weren’t ones that he had seen before. Another interesting thing for him to find out about. “I’m not the one playing games here, hyung. What is a gay man doing dating an innocent girl?”

The hurt that flashed across Sungmin’s eyes only lasted a second but Kyuhyun saw it. It almost made him hesitate and rethink his words. Almost. Sungmin ran a hand over his face, he walked over to the chair and sank into it. “You already know homosexual relationships don’t work. Why would I bother starting one if it’s not going to last. You get married and have children. To do that you need a wife not a husband. It’s the way things work in this world. I don’t want nor need all the baggage that comes with that. So, yes I’m dating Soo Jin, is that so wrong?” His elbows were resting on his thighs and his head hanging right above his knees.

Thinking about what was being said, it made sense. He himself didn’t believe in love so this was fitting. Most people would still want to have a family and the general way for those things would be for a man and woman to marry and have children. No, he couldn’t fault Sungmin for this. “Then why are you still doing things with me?” Sungmin raised his head looking at Kyuhyun. “It’s not like you gave me much of a choice the last time we met did you? So, demanding.” He scoffed and shook his head. That wasn’t what he had meant to say. I was going to tell you over the coffee but that didn’t turn out.” Kyuhyun stood up and walked over to Sungmin, taking a seat on the arm of the chair. A startled Sungmin sat back in his chair. He wasn’t expecting them to be so close nor was he expecting for Kyuhyun to be staring at him so intensely. “Do you still want to?” Sungmin’s hand gripped his knee tightly, this was making him nervous, he could feel his heart beating faster. “What?” his mind couldn’t think straight at the moment and it didn’t help that Kyuhyun was coming closer to him. The guy really could be the most attractive in the worst kinds of situations. This being one of them.

“Do you still want to tell me that.” He asked as he let one hand play with one of the buttons on Sungmin’s shirt. Watching as Sungmin swallowed Kyuhyun licked his lips, waiting patiently for an answer. Turning his head away Sungmin broke their gaze. He needed a chance to really breathe. He didn’t know what that gaze was but it was a powerful one. The simple fact of the matter was that he would always be more attracted to Kyuhyun than he would to Soo Jin but it wouldn’t be fair of him to continue on with a relationship on the side either. Sadly, Soo Jin was the furthest thing from his mind right now. “Aish, why do you do this?” He managed to stand up and walk away from Kyuhyun, keeping his back to him. “When did you even become like this? You’re making everything complicated.” Sungmin felt like pounding his head against the wall but he refrained from doing so. Kyuhyun didn’t move from his spot but he did watch the other mans every move. “I can’t do this.” he muttered and then walked out of Kyuhyun’s apartment.

Kyuhyun slid into the chair. What was he doing? That, he couldn’t tell you. He didn’t know himself. All he knew for sure was that he didn’t like his things being messed with and Sungmin was doing that. Soo Jin didn’t need to be dating a gay man and Sungmin didn’t need to be dating Soo Jin. Ryeowook had been right, he’d have to thank him later. Why both of these things bothered him so much when they shouldn’t he couldn’t explain with true answers. He could only make up temporary excuses that he was blind to himself. Soo Jin and Sungmin wouldn’t belong to each other. Not in any life time.

---

The next few days he monopolized Soo Jin’s time. She was ecstatic as he knew she would be. They were now dating in every way that society would call dating. As for Kyuhyun he didn’t do dating, so that’s not what it was. For appearances and not to upset Soo Jin he’d never say such a thing. He was just fine with the way things were. Though there was one thing he was lacking. He was itching for the kind of contact that he wouldn’t be able to get from Soo Jin nor would he push for it. She was much too sweet and innocent for that.

“Oppa, I can’t go to the movies with you today.” A nervous girl spoke softly as she looked at the ground, pointing her toes on her right foot and slowly tapping the ground repeatedly. “Huh?” Kyuhyun exclaimed as he waited outside her door. “I’m sorry, mother insists I go on a date later.” These words brought genuine surprise to him. Neither Soo Jin nor Kyuhyun had heard from Sungmin and it was obvious who this date was with. “Ah, well don’t disappoint your mother then. I’ll leave first.” He bowed his head slightly and then turned around to walk back to his apartment. “I’ll call you, Kyuhyun Oppa!” she called after him and he raised a hand in a wave but didn’t look back and continued on his way.

There was a lot on his mind now that Sungmin had come back into the picture. It had only been a few days but those days really felt like the man had decided to just disappear from both of them. Apparently, that wasn’t the case. No, he still wanted to see Soo Jin. Kyuhyun huffed away his annoyance and picked up his pace. His feet led him to Ryeowook’s though, not his own apartment. Kyuhyun didn’t even bother knocking but opened the door. He was always welcomed to his best friends, place why should he knock.
The scene that unfolded before him was a half naked Ryeowook being chased around the kitchen by a completely naked Jongwoon. Instead of staring at them in shock, he just shut the door and walked over to the couch taking a seat and propping his legs up on the coffee table. “When you two are done with your games Wook, come over here.” A high pitched squeal was heard and a deeper chuckle was heard as well as scuffles and normal footsteps out of the room. This amused him, Ryeowook must be blushing by now and by the sounds of it Jongwoon was just as amused as he was. No shame for that man. Well, that was good.

Once Ryeowook finally emerged from the bedroom he was fully clothed and his ears were still pink. “Kyu-Kyuhyunnie, what are you doing here? Did I miss your call?” He crossed his arms over his chest and just continued looking at the pictures of Wook and his family that were on top of the mantle in front of him. “No. Do you two really take turns?” He asked, turning his attention to his friend. Ryeowook’s eyes shifted away from Kyuhyun’s. “We haven’t gone that far yet.” He mumbled, completely embarrassed about this topic but knowing that if he didn’t answer Kyuhyun would just keep pressuring him until he did. “What? Then what was all that? Surely, you two already and in the kitchen maybe?” He waved his hand around in the direction of the kitchen to indicate all that he meant. “No, he was just to uh lick whip cream off me. Kyuhyunnie, must you really ask me all these questions?” He asked in a pleading tone and a pout that made the other part melt.

“Fine fine but tell him next time to use handcuffs, it’d be easier and more fun that way.” A yell from the other room could be heard, “Good idea.” It made Kyuhyun smile, though it was kind of creepy the way the kid would just jump in in the most random of places of conversation. Even so maybe Jongwoon wasn’t that bad. A hand was on his knee then and Kyuhyun looked up at Ryeowook. He was concerned, hm didn’t he seem alright? He felt alright. “Ah, I wanted to thank you for telling me Sungmin was completely gay so come out for a drink with me. My treat.” He grinned and stood up. He walked closer to the bedroom, knowing that that was where Jongwoon was. “You get dressed and come too. I know you two won’t separate willingly so might as well come along.” Kyuhyun near the door and waited patiently. Ryeowook was confused, “Why are you thanking me for that?” A chuckle was heard, “It came in handy the other day. Hurry up Jongwoon or we’ll leave you!” he called and two seconds later a fully clothed with upside down glasses wearing Jongwoon came out of the room ready to go. The three left together and went to a near by bar that they were all familiar with and better yet could walk to just in case any of them got too drunk it wouldn’t be hard to get home.
