Freaky teeth bro. Soul and Veser met a few days after Veser first arrived and hit it off pretty well with a game of basketball. They lost the darkness in their hearts the same week and got to be obnoxiously happy-go-lucky at the same time.
Veser considers Soul his best friend in the port and hangs out with him as often as he can. They're the happy parents owners of a pair of sibling catsharks named Maka and Megatron.

Met him after waking up on a sidewalk with no memory of the past three days. Danny was nice enough to come get him, bring him back to his apartment and make him a sandwich. The cat is pretty cool in his book.

Veser met Yako on his first day and grew to instantly like her. And by 'like' I mean he totally wanted to tap that. But after she showed genuine concern for him after he was missing for three days and then again when he was kidnapped by the cultists his interests have slowly moved from "ooh hot chick, should totally hit that" to "you know, she's a pretty cool chick". tl;dr, he thinks she's pretty and likes her quite a bit.
