Watch out, your cats may be in danger
A word of advice from my heart to anyone reading this journal:
please watch out in the next few days, until Samhain and Halloween are past - your cats, expecially if you have black cats, may be in danger.
In many parts of the world, cruel morons take advantage of what is meant to be a holiday full of fun and sharing in order to perform atrocities on cats, expecially black cats. Please keep a vigilant eye on your furry feline friends and, if at all possible, keep them indoors.
As a practicing Neo-Pagan I want to say that all this has nothing to do with Neo-Paganism and with any of its currents, much as some of those morons would like us to believe it does. True Neo-Pagans of every and all Traditions love and respect all living beings. Atrocities such as mistreating animals do not have anything to do with Neo-Pagan Paths and their followers.
