Music - Do you listen to music while you write? Do you make playlists to get into a certain "mood" to write your fic? Do you need noise in general? Or do you need it completely quiet?
I do listen to music while I work - whatever the writing, I find a familiar noise helps me concentrate. There are very few occasions when I don't what some sort of music.
Normally, the type of music doesn't matter - I have a "working" playlist with a number of random songs that I will listen to. I add songs and remove songs just whenever I feel like it and I let the music just play. Sometimes though I will just want to listen to one song all the time, and not just while I'm writing. (Example, I'm looking at you!!).
I only listened to "Bedshapped" by Keene while writing "Inversion"; I only listened to "Right Round" by Flo Rida while writing "Anyway..." and some of the other TG fics.
Actually, I must have been wearing my Irony-hat with "Inversion" as I then used that song for a Diana/Kosar vid.
