Cinemas and Saints
Saw V for Vendetta on Friday, and it was a great movie experience. The movie rocked (despite, as ever, previews giving too much away), and even managed to surprise me a time or two. As an added plus, four out of the five previews were for movies I am psyched to go and see: Mission Impossible 3 (I have high hopes, despite the absolute suckosity of MI2), X-Men 3, Superman Returns, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Whoo! Mrs. Clubber mocked me for getting serious goosebumps during the Superman Returns trailer, but I'm pretty sure I heard a quiet "Mmmm... Johnny..." from her during the PotC trailer.
Anyhow: if your movie tastes are at all similar to mine, go see V for Vendetta.

As I sit here in my office, I can hear the Saint Patrick's Day parade going by on Yonge Street. I don't know who selects what music the various bands and floats will be playing. So far, I've heard such traditional Irish ballads "Theme Song from Hawaii Five-Oh", "Ring of Fire", and "Theme song from M*A*S*H".
