My UberComputer continues to be lost somewhere in the US Postal System. I contacted customer support today, and they had one of those exceptionally annoying/frustrating "Just say what your problem is and the computer will take care of it" systems, which eventually devolved into me simply repeating "I want to talk to a human" over and over again until it finally let me do that. The guy I spoke with first simply quoted me the exact same message I receive from their website; when pressed with "Yeah, but what does that mean" he eventually guesstimated that my computer is actually in there system and someone failed to scan it when they picked it up. Since delivery is anticipated at 8-10 days, I should receive my computer back no later than next Tuesday.

I remain dubious, but hopeful. I have a five-day mini-vacation starting next Thursday, and it would be nice to have my computer to play with.

In other computer news, my back-up computer, Mjolnar, died last night. I am, for the first time in ages, relatively* computerless.

I am getting fairly tired of this shit.

*I still have my laptop, but come on. It's like working with an abacus at this point.
