State of the Clubber, Part Whatevs
Apparently my doctor's receptionist should not have implied urgency in her voicemail message; the doctor just wanted to discuss the test results.
My lungs are pretty good - no sign of COPD, emphysema or asthma - but there are indications that there is some blockage (not a lot, but some). This is likely caused by either scarring on the lungs, or perhaps a growth of some sort. Yikes.
Next Wednesday I go for an echo-cardiogram to make sure that my heart is keeping up its end of the deal, and an MRI to get some images of my lungs. I have no idea what steps happen after that; I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
