What the hell is the point of a website forcing me to choose a "better" password?
We're sorry, but you've selected an insecure password. In order to protect the security of your account, please click "Password Strength" to get tips on choosing a safer password.
I mean, I get what they're trying to do, and by all means, educate people on password security. But refusing the password I have selected? That's retarded.
I tried a couple of passwords that I would remember, none of which Gmail liked. Eventually I picked a nice long password with a sufficient combination of numbers and letters in it that Gmail deemed it acceptable.
Hey, Gmail, you know what's less secure than a "weak" password that I can remember? A "strong" password that is now written down in my desk because I will never remember it. *thumbsup*
