My subway train came to a gradual stop on the bridge over the Humber River, at Old Mill station. The horn sounded, and the train inched forward, then stopped. The horn sounded a number of times, then the train inched forward again and stopped. Then the horn again, even more than before

I think that's such a Canadian thing, a train delay due to lazy Canada Goose.

I waited about 10 minutes on the bus once as a momma duck and her ducklings were crossing the transit way. She was taking them across one by one. Totally adorable.
