This is my new new video logo:
I sped up the action (actually, I replaced the old action with newer and faster action), which makes things look a bit more fluid and less mechanical, I also removed the blade flicker, which was kind of strobing at the end of the original logo.

I have another variant where, after the uber-parry, the pear falls in half, because it has not been as careful as it might have been.

This would look really good if you could capture the innards of the pear as it falls open.
