Tonight's dinner was GF tempura, from a new cookbook that is thus far proving worth the price. We had shrimp, scallops, zucchini, carrots, and cauliflower. I did the dredging and dipping, Jess manned the wok for deep frying. Puppies milled about smelling food. We gave them each a bit of carrot in tempura. Their reaction was, "Yay, carrot! We like carrot! Carrot with weird stuff on it, but we like carrot anyway!"

The humans were much more impressed.
