Surfacing for update.
After events that will eventually make a funny story with time and distance, Spouse and his luggage are secured in Virginia, where he starts school for cross-rating tomorrow. Provided the entire state has not shut down on accounta weather. Which the internet would have you believe is a thing we only do in California. Now you know different.
Have applied for a few jobs, need to apply for at least one more tonight, because current job is killing me. Sadly, finding something that pays me sufficiently for the same amount of hours (or less) is unlikely. I will be looking at disability this year; we'll see what that brings.
Car will be ready for pickup on Friday, at least in theory. They pulled the right quarter panel off and found more damage, which is why it's taking longer. At least USAA is not giving me grief about paying for it.
Haven't written a word since sometime before Thursday. I think. Been kind of blurry while we got Spouse squared away and work freaked out about tax forms (which the IRS never delivered, so that was an emergency I could have done without). I am not certain when this state of things will improve. My brain is in power conservation mode.
