2009 SFPA Halloween Poetry Reading

Oct 13, 2009 19:55

The fourth annual online SFPA Halloween Poetry Reading is now live. More spookily themed poems and images will be added throughout the month, so it's a good page to check every week or so as we count down to All Hallow's. Personally, I'm looking forward to what time_shark will contribute this year; his readings tend toward the creeptastic. My own reading of my poem "O. D.," first published in text and audio format in Goblin Fruit this past winter, is available for your listening, er, pleasure. Heed the Adult Content Warning, though.

The rest of the readings thus far are kid-friendly, provided your kid is the macabre sort. Or you could keep them as a special trickish treat after the kids are in bed, to listen to while the cold autumn wind is blowing outside the door....

other people's po'try!, a horror writer now, po'try!
