My Baby Girls got married.
It was the second most beautiful ceremony I've ever been to. I shall post pictures once I can bribe them off of people (I'm still learning this whole practice of taking your camera with you). Incriminating pictures of Spouse shaking his moneymaker to "Loveshack" will most definitely be forthcoming, as will pictures in which I re-enacted the video to ABBA's "Take a Chance on Me."
Yes, Elisa and Kelly didn't hire entertainers, because they are very awesome people with some very goofy friends who can provide our own entertainment. Also, they fuelled me on créme brulée and chocolate-blackberry bomb, as the cake was not GF. I feel, if you're going to feed me sugar, you're going to have to be prepared for the consequences. Elisa and Kelly are pros at consequence-taking, and giddy dizzy down in the marrow deep in love. It was amazing to take part in the acknowledgement of that. We will get more acknowledgement. We will have marriage equality in this state. My Baby Sister and her Girl deserve nothing less.
