1. Name: Kai
2. Birthday: October 24
3. Where do you live: Wisconsin :(
4. What are you studying/What’s your job: All the crap people study in high school. I used to have a job as the person who licked envelopes/did the stuff no one else wanted to do, but I'm off due to golf.
5. What makes you happy: Discussions! I am not talkative - unless I get in a deep discussion, and then I'm thrilled!
6. What are you listening to now: Sofia Jannok, "Dulla Lulla." I listen to weird music.
7. Why you’re reading my journal: Cos you're a cool person and I like reading your journal! :D
8. An interesting fact about you: I have synaesthesia, the sense-crossing thingy. "Seagullsong" is a lovely reddish color in my vision.
9. Name an important person in your life: I don't think I can pick just one...so my five best friends, probably.
10. Favorite place to be: EASY. Barnes and Noble, hands down! Or any place with books, basically.
11. A favorite quote: "The key to good eavesdropping is not getting caught." -Lemony Snicket
12. Best time of the year: Summer, or autumn if it's warm. I picked the wrong state to be born in.
13. Weirdest food you like: Hmm...well, I like Indian food, which is considered weird by most people where I live, but nothing really odd.

RECOMMEND
1. A film: RENT - pwns everything
2. A book: "Taking Woodstock" - pwns the movie
3. A song: "Ghost of Corporate Future" by Regina Spektor - doesn't particularly pwn, just has cool piano and gets stuck in my head a lot. :)

FANDOM
1. Favorite Fandom: Fakenews :) In theory, I have multiple fandoms, but in practice I can barely keep up with this one.
2. OTP/OT3: Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert. Like, whoa, I always swore I'd never have an OTP, and then KA-BLAM, they hit me. >_<
3. Icon/Fic Journal: Fic - prelute, Icons - corlindo. Both are shared with my friend Kesa.

PLUS
1. One thing you like about me: Your awesome discussions! Hello, doppelganger!
2. Two things you like about yourself: Can I pull a Jon Stewart on this question? Uh, hmm, I like my writing (usually), and my obsession with books, I guess.

Haha, it took me forever to get back to this. Sorry!

Wisconsin makes you sad? :( I've never been there...

...due to golf? Meaning that you play golf? Is it golf season? *Is* there a golf season?

Synaesthesia??? THAT IS ABSOLUTELY MY FAVORITE...mental...thingy...but I've never quite understood how it works. Do the colors just appear in front of you, or what? Does reading make your world look like a watercolor painting? Or is it just that the words look like they're printed in colored type? Are any of your other senses crossed? Am I allowed to be insanely jealous of you? How obnoxious is it to get quizzed about this? :P

RENT does indeed pwn. Thanks for filling this thing out!

Hee, that's okay. :)

Wisconsin makes me sad because it's cold and there's nothing to do here. Madison has a reputation of being super liberal, but that's only because all of the liberals unfortunate enough to be born elsewhere in the state migrate there. I've only been there three times, and it's soooooo different from the rest of Wisconsin.

Yep, I'm on the golf team. Girl's golf season is just about done, with sectionals this week.

Hah, I don't mind being quizzed about synaesthesia because it IS awesome. :D There are different ways it works for different people, usually either actually seeing colors outside your head, or just having a "feeling" about what color something is (or sounds, or taste, or any other senses.) For me, it's just like seeing colored type, although sometimes the colors aren't things that can exist in the real world. But for my sound-color synaesthesia, it is kind of a combination of seeing a watercolor painting and a synthesizer like on Windows Media Player. Besides words/colors and sound/colors, I also have sound/touch, which can be a bit weird when I hear sounds and feel them. Plus there are other random crossovers, but they're not as constant as the others.
