So there's always people who can fight and people who can talk real pretty and get others to do things but I've never been good at either of those. I can do one thing and its get around pretty fast. This isn't the first time someone's attacked us. This last guy- I think he was worse. He went after people, and killed a whole lot. He killed me, actually.

But we found him, and together we ended it. It was worth it.

Dying here, it isn't like outside. The boat's different in a lot of ways. You get to come back. Not always, and sometimes things go wrong, but usually when you die here, you get another chance.

That doesn't mean it doesn't hurt though. Don't try it.

You come back to life, just like you were before you died. Healthy, normal... normal as you were, I mean. You don't get better or anything. You don't seem too weird though, so I don't think you'd, like, try to die to fix yourself. Uh-- never mind again.

Let me say this though: some people are gonna tell you that being here is awful, that you should find a way to go home. Truth is that this is your life now, that's just how it goes.
