ungh - as a Christian this is the kind of shit that upsets me. All this concentration on "am I good enough to get to heaven?" and "without jesus i will perish in hell"... none of which, by the way, is ever discussed in the bible. The focus on "heaven vs. hell" never really came around until about 150 years ago... why, I have no idea. FUD tactics to help bolster the collection plates of the church, I would assume

The biblical way to witness to a homosexual is not to argue with him about his lifestyle but to use the Law to bring the knowledge of sin. This will show him that he is guilty of breaking God’s holy Law, and he is damned not because of, but despite his sexual preference. The Law was made for homosexuals, as well as other lawbreakers. See Psalm 5:5 and 2 Peter 2:6-8 footnotes.

(i still think my personal favourite was the points for open-air preaching.)
Yea, there's plenty of laws in the old testament that modern christians chose to ignore, such as stoning somebody for wearing mixed fabrics, or the lawfulness of selling your daughter into slavery, or killing somebody for pretty much any tiny stupid offense. But the Gay ones... fuck... talk about picking and chosing "Holy Law" to fit with your own prejudice.
At the end of the day - who fucking cares? Your quote totally supports what I was talking about - the modern day Christian has completely missed the point by concentrating on what laws were created and broken rather than the meaning - which is (get ready for this) TO LOVE EVERYBODY. Holy shit, what a fucking concept!
"5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity" - Psalm 5:5
What the fuck does that have to do with homosexuality? Nothing. Okay, so maybe it's out of context and the precedding or proceeding verses in Psalm 5 talk about homosexuality.
1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. 2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. 3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. 4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. 5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. 6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. 7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. 8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy
