Thanksgiving was filled with some much needed family time. I got in town and immediately began family time. We went to the Dew Drop before i even went home. Then, i went home and played with my dogs (they are officially massive) and relaxed with the fam. Thursday, I woke up and drove to Daphne to my aunt's house where much fun was had. Laughter and complete happiness. Good times. Highlight of the day: 4 grown women falling over while trying to take a picture. Drove immediately down to the beach where I anxiously awaited the arrival of my sister and her husband. I wanted to see friends in Mobile, but the family time was well worth it. Friday, we woke up and had another thanksgiving dinner because Jami couldn't make it to my aunt's house thursday. Then, we watched LSU clench the west, much to my dad and brother's dismay, and then my parents turned the TV off and said "ok, so we have this nice weekend at the beach because we have some news... we're not pregnant and nooone's sick" thank god, i thought. Then they broke the news to us all. Tears fell down my sister's face and we eventually talked about it and decided to make the best of the situation. We all went to the Foley outlet mall and shopped entirely too long. A nice late night dinner at waffle house hit the spot and we returned to the beach to watch Batman Begins. Saturday began with a long afternoon of tennis, which i am still sore from, and then drunkeness in the hot tub. Wine goes to your head very fast in the hot tub. After showers, we went to the Oyster House for a very scrumptious dinner and went back to the condo to sleep. On the way home, we went to the outlet again and managed to spend even more money. Oh well. Now, im back at LSU. The whole way back, I just wanted to turn around and be on Christmas break. I just feel like its been a long semester and I need a break, I guess, but I feel like im not as happy as i could be.
