I went to the campus bookstore and bought some of my books. One class hasn't got their books in yet, and one book each for two other classes is not in. I paid only about $129 so far, but I have the feeling the Calculus books are going to be crazily expensive.
The open mic last night went really well. I read three of my poems, and a lot of people came up to me afterwards to tell me they liked my poems. People did some really interesting things last night. One guy did an interpretive dance to "Safety Dance" and quite a few gave monologues and whatnot. Several played guitar and sang. Only one other person read poetry.
