i am worried about my fiscal responsibility when i have disposable income. i only covet two things: art and pricey food. thankfully (or not), i will likely not have disposable income for quite some time, by which point maybe i wont want to buy a 9 dollar jar of orange raspberry marmalade, or will not have a hard time pulling myself out of most art ( Read more... )

Visual art or art in general? I've never really thought about buying visual art, because I've never really considered it a possibility, and there's so much art being produced everywhere for free.

I'm hazarding a comment that may seem voyeuristic, but oh well, that's not how I mean it. In my social website meta-wanderings, I stumbled across this, and I wanted to let you know how beautiful your soul is. What you have to say, and how you say it (whether it be through poetry or prose), is refreshing, potent, and fucking sincere. Keep writing, just keep being, because you're incredible.

I honestly just saw you pop up as a friend of the Lewallens on facebook. Lydia's a great gal and a good friend of mine. Anyway, what I said was kind of bizarre and out of character, but I really like what you have to say. Haha, so, sorry for being creepy...

i dont think you are weird at all. i was being honest in that last comment. i was, in fact, extremely flattered.

and yes, lydia is most definitely a precious gem.
