I went on a hike with a friend today and it was a glorious 65 and sunny. I hadn't gone since August, before Justin's surgery (I know he's itching to go as soon as we get his doctor's ok). It'd been way too long. I checked my boots for spiders and everything. Two hours of catching up was nice too.

This weekend is supposed to be in the mid to high 60s here, I can't wait.

Any plans for the good weather heading your way?

Eh, not really. Sammi's actual birthday party is this Saturday and we all generally like to spend one weekend day being totally fucking lazy. I'm talking brunch at 11, jammies until well into the afternoon, etc.

I think so. Although, when her friends ring the doorbell at 4pm and we're all still in PJs...totally embarrassing. She stands there and says, "It's a jammie day. What, you don't have those?"
