Yesterday Justin and I went to the big air show they have here. He's been wanting to go since we moved, and on every one of the three years we've been here, something else has come up that weekend. So off we went to fulfill his long-awaited wish. OMG. Hundreds of people, scorching sun, nothing in tap or bottle but Bud, painfully loud (even with earplugs!), huge family event - just about 100 different flavors of Not My Scene. OTOH, it's been forever since I got to spend the whole day with Justin. And I was productive, too! Justin said there'd be a lot of downtime between the features, so I took my books and knocked out a solid chapter of Market Research (yes, I KNOW, but I have midterms coming up and simply can't afford to get behind). We got out of there with time to avoid the traffic clusterfuck and home in time for my conference call. I consider the day a success!
