Mark and I were watching Animal Cops the other day, and there was a shaggy black puppy on the show. Mark immediately commented that she reminded him of Lily (it's so weird, later in the show they revealed that her foster mom had actually named her Lily, but that's not the point of the story). She was terribly shy and withdrawn. When she went to her foster home she seemed to recover from her ordeal in about a WEEK, thanks to the Basset Hound owned by the foster family. It was amazing to see the difference in this dog. Mark was very in to this story, and when he saw how much she changed he said "That's just like our Lily, that's why we got Brandie." Success! He gets it! Look at that face.... ::warm-fuzzies::
It's 11am and 50 out right now, headed for a high of 60. Time to get dressed and head out to Mom's for a day of fun, sun and animals. :-D
