The Doctor turned to see who was yelling so loudly as to be heard over the sounds of burning buildings and people dying violently.
Out of nowhere, Rose appeared, running full-pelt towards the Doctor with a tear-stained face, waving her arms around ecstatically, a look of disbelief on her face.
She practically glomped him as the Kaiser Chiefs proceeded to play "Ruby" in the background, making the whole event feel like some bizarre scene from a TV Drama.
"What in the name of Rassilon is going on?!" the Doctor asked in disbelief. Rose laughed.
"They're on their new Universal Tour. Their music's back in fashion, so they've been taken out of LifeStasis due to popular demand."
"And you're with them WHY?"
"I'm their new lead singer. Their last one... there were some...complications. Ice crystals in his arteries and all that."
In a bizarre act of heartlessness or poor editing on the producers behalf, The Doctor, Rose and The Kaiser Chiefs joined Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance in a battle against Kickass-Peanut and her rude plushie-making friends who had joined the dark side.
They fought viciously, swords, staves, bows and arrows and giant keys appeared out of nowhere for them to attack with.
The Doctor ended up with the biggest of all the swords, one that was practically the same height as himself, which made sense, since he was the leader of the little army that had built up.
A rabid plushie maker suddenly fell out of the sky towards them, firing pins from the palm of her hand. Unused to his weapon and fighting with a sword in general, the Doctor had no time to react. There was a yell and a triangular blue shield of energy appeared just in time. The Doctor turned to see where it had come from, he could see nothing around him but the fierce battle of band members and artisan crafters. And Rose. With her fingers placed to her temples. That was odd.
After a while, the plushie maker lost interest and went off to kill Lily Allen who had decided to have a go at fighting. She'll try anything.
The blue shield disappeared, and Rose collapsed. The Doctor ran to her side, supporting her head. She smiled happily, if not very wearily, when suddenly her eyes widened in horror as she noticed something somewhere behind the Doctor.
He turned to look and saw some sort of a gigantic monster looming over them. It was like nothing he had ever seen before, which disconcerted him, seeing as he had seen a LOT during his ten lifetimes. The most bizarre aspect of this creature was not the fact that it seemed to be hundreds of feet tall and they had only just realised it was there, nor was it the fact that it seemed to be wearing white cowboy boots and paid more than a passing resemblance to Michael Jackson. No, it was the fact that it seemed to be wearing a bizarre white mask with the hugest nose he had ever seen on a mask.
And it was coming towards them.
