Waiting.

Nov 30, 2009 17:21

So, the wait.
It has begun.

*scared face*

Clicking on the link to my email account, pretty much every hour.
If I've had to move, for example a new classroom, going home, etc, I'll log in. Tapping frantically.
If I haven't had to move...it's F5 that's being hit, every few minutes.
I'm watching for the top line in my inbox to be in bold, heralding a new email.
Sometimes I'm lucky.
There it is, an email, plopped happily in at the top of my list of emails.
It's not what I was waiting for.
"Money off when you buy today!"
"Sammy Wilsmore commented on your Photo on Facebook!"

AUGH.

I really don't care.

What I DO care about is seeing those 4 letters:
U
C
A
S

and an accompanying message to tell me my application details have been changed.

Please please please, just one.
This is nervewracking.
To think that something as basic as an email can bring so much STRESS.

Everyone else I know has been getting these emails. Like golden tickets in a bar of chocolate, they all emerge, one by one.
Except me.
Augh, why did I take so long sending it off?!
I could have offers by now.
Damnit.

I don't like this.
I need to join the "Most Impatient People" group on Facebook.
If such a group exists.

If I had at least one offer I'd be fine.
I just worry a lot.
