My Feet Hurt!
I had an awesome first day back to school with my sixth graders. However, it is ridiculously hot around here with heat-indexes reaching up into the hundreds and I was dressed up (the whole professional intimidation factor) and on my feet the entire time. I could do without that part, but I think it is crucial to form that psychological teacher is a professional and not a student/on the same level as a student boundary that doesn't always come across if you don't make the effort (or look much much younger than your 31 years).
