Behold! I have encountered a most unglorious mystery. There is this willful, hmm, I don't know, ignorance maybe, when it comes to accepting the teachings and doctrines of the Early Church Fathers only when it is convenient for Evangelical Christian Fundamentalists to do so and then in the next breath condemning them all to the depths of hades with the unrighteous dead for following the 'doctrines of men.' It is a blinding inconsistency. They do the same things with the Reformers. They don't claim the Reformers unless it is convenient to do so, then they also claim they followed the doctrines of men. Heck, they don't claim Christians in other parts of the world who aren't Evangelical unless they're martyred. It's like watching a whole new religion unfold before my eyes because they are so intent on reinventing the wheel even after they've been staring at the prototype.
