a terrible social dilemma that happens all too often is having only one side of a story. when only part of a bridge can be seen, it's impossible to tell if the other end is burning. these situations lead to three ends. you could take chances, and go onto the bridge, which is fine, and you reach your field of flowers saftly. you could take the chance, go onto the bridge, which is actually burning, and either burn, or fall to your doom. or you could not take the chance, skip the bridge (which turned out to be fine) and miss the field of flowers completely. in the young years of our lives, when we're mostly sheltered from serious problems and situations, these can become very big issues. i know of two many, and can ussually think of a time when one is happening.
as of this present day my friend, i can see no better than you what's on the other side of that bridge. i don't smell smoke, or see flames through the fog, but i cannot actually say it's safe. i suppose only time can tell, but try not to go too far past the bridge. it may be the right path after all.
