Okay - I have to be creepy and fan-squeee all over your fic series because it's fantastic. I can't get it out of my head days after reading it. The characterization, pacing, suspense...it's all effortlessly, skillfully done and you've skyrocketed to my list of top SPN fics. 1) The scene where Castiel gets plucked out of the sky by the arch angel? The imagery reminded me of a bird of prey capturing a smaller bird and I love how you managed to interpret the alien nature of angels in that scene without bashing the reader with an obvious stick. Al- 2)The relentless repercussions of physical injury - nothing just magically goes away in your fic and the internal logic (ooooh, big lit. words ^_^) of your work is wonderfully convincing 3) Speaking of internal logic - there are so many little references to canon history that everything just feels like it flows. This isn't just a 'lets torture the characters for 1000 words'...this is well thought out and contextualized. Okay. I'm going to take my creepy self away now.
