yup, that's the edge of the farmland, all right *is momentarily homesick*

When I was growing up, all the roadsigns on the "back roads" were full of pellet holes. People don't think of NJ as being rural, but parts of it were, back then... My elementary school backed up to a dairy farm & I spent a lot of time in third grade staring out the window watching the cows. I knew down to the minute when they'd start drifting one-by-one out of the barn after milking, and trail through the barnyard to the pasture on their own. (It was a rough year-- hated my third grade teacher.)

In my case, it was the farmland that went away from me-- I'm still here (different town, same county), but the ruralness got eaten up by suburban developments. /trip down memory lane.

...getting donuts...

*g* But it's true!

I have a police scanner (I'm nosy) & I often hear the local cops calling the others to "Two-five at the rest area at Old York & 202". This sounds very official-- 10-25, or two-five, means "meet me"-- they're assembling to discuss police work! Except, there's a Dunkin' Donuts at Old York Rd. & Route 202. The only thing they're discussing is "Cream & sugar, Mike?" :P

ooooh. nice! Very Alderaanian.

One thing I really loved about Ep.III: Alderaan is Switzerland! The whole "Alderaan is peaceful, we have no weapons" had me trying to think up ways they might incorporate peace into their architecture, culture, whatever. The MedStar books mention a huge intergalactic hospital on Alderaan, & how it's dedicated to alleviating pain for all species.

Let the man drive; he knows how to Google! *giggle*

LOL! This is going to be making me grin all day!
