Well, I'm working on the next chapter. Real life keeps getting in the way of sustained bouts of scribbling. My area was hit hard by post-Ivan flooding-- we didn't get flooded this time, but nearby was pretty hard-hit when the Delaware River hit its highest levels since 1955. I was flooded out twice, badly, & when the water rises, I get upset & panicky, even tho' we don't live in the river valley anymore. I still get freaked out.
And my brother came to visit & it was good to see him but so strange, too, it still feels so surreal to hear my baby brother talking about shooting people and getting blown up. He jokes around a lot, which is what I do when I'm upset, so while some people are saying "Oh, how well he's adjusted!" I'm thinking, "Riiiiiight..."
And I've been refinishing a bed for one of my daughters, and it's hockey season for the other one so I spend a lot of afternoons sitting on the sidelines calling "Yay, girls!"
And that was way more detail needed, I'm sure! Sorry I can't give a definite answer: just "As soon as possible!" 'Cause I need some pilotage, too.
