This has totally turned me into mush, so brace yourself for incoherent ramblings…
One of the many reasons why I love your fics, n this particular JongHo, is that you’ve incorporated so much of their real personalities (and situations) into the story that this relationship seems quite plausible. For example:

“Always so collected and strong in the face of change. Always ready for anything and the younger had basically been assured a position at his father's law firm after grad. Something Minho was comfortable with and understood already. Just thinking of it made his stomach twist. An odd cocktail of jealousy and self pity and the taste was bitter on the back of his tongue.”

It reminds me of the GQ magazine interview when Jjongie admitted Minho’s passing/graduating high school bought up feelings of regret and maybe envy.

I can easily imagine this other scene, especially that first line being delivered by Minho with his trademark bug-eyed expression:

"What is wrong with you lately? You've been a huge asshole lately and now this?"
Minho was half laughing in disbelief as he tried to calm the older man down. He hardly seemed surprised though. More amused that anything else.’

We all know Minho is always coming to the rescue when Jjongie seems to having a sobfest and you’ve played on that beautifully here, I wanted to cry with him! I totally empathise n if I had a Minho around I’d do the same. Oh n I also loved how the weather mirrored his disposition at the beginning.

JongHo has definitely crept to the top(ish) of my OTP's, (as I've mentioned before) the dynamics of their relationship works so well, they've got chemistry here, so many sweet moments. What more can I say?* JONGHO ALL THE WAY BABY!!! <333333

*I could say a LOT more but I'm afraid at this point it's probably going to hard to decipher and make sense of, lol.

Every single comment you post has me squealing and giggle and flailing around like a damn fool. :'3 I love how in depth and thought out you are about it and I'm so glad you always catch the little literary things and I swear it makes MY heart melt when you catch them. I really love Jongho, which shouldn't come as a surprise because it's all about their balance. Two dominant men in a relationship is a really thrilling idea and it's very possible! When Jonghyun gives in to Minho in anyway it's because he wants to. And when Minho gives in to Jonghyun it's the same. I go completely barmy when I comment coz it's concerning my favourite things: SHINee & fiction, lol!
Ur writing is quality n I wanna give constructive feedback but I end waffaling n it turns into an English Lit paper, ottoke?!
You're quite right though, despite 1st appearances, the JongHo relationship works so well and if you really understand your characters, the story is then cohesive & memorable.
But yeah, I loved it & I saw that icon a while bk n I now thought 'how appropriate!:D

ehehe I love it! I love your feedback critiquing because it helps me notice little things that I can build upon and work with more in my writing :'3 and knowing the character is always so important.
