~~ i have to say ;-) ....... ~~
.............................................. a warm cup of fresh ground coffee with whole milk, Organic white Sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg is pretty good .................. Good even on another 'record' hot day ;-) :p :p ............................
i was rather thrilled to find that an old movie that i quite loved when i was younger is now available to watch instantly on Netflix dot com ................... "Fly Away Home" ......................... feeling rather 'out of it' and slow to get up any energy today as of yet, i've been watching it and sipping on my sweet healthy coffee :) ^_^ ..................... and in the spirit of fall it is a very much "Fall in the Canadian wilderness" kindv movie :) :p ................... however between the young girls' mother dying at the beginning of the film , the girl being reunited with her father after 13 years , the Mother goose dying, the girl finding the abondoned baby goose eggs and rescuing them / lugging them home via an old "70s" looking baby carrier ^_^ ...................... making them a little cozy nest in the drawer of an old piece of furniture in an old barn ............... sneaking around to take care of them ................ and then watching the baby geese actually hatch and seeing the little wet and infant geese ............................ which strangley enough reminded me of the brand new kittens we had in our house no less than four months ago ........................ well, let's just say that i hav pretty much crying / bawling off and on the entire length of the film =) =) ^_^ ................. and it's not even finished yet !! hehe ....................... i'm pretty silly :p .................... i plead 8 month pregnancy hormones ;-) :p :p .................. if you have never seen this movie you might find it a worth while watch .......................... on a nice, lazy, cool or rainy afternoon ( or eavening ) with a warm cup of tea or coffee , and maybe something pumpkiny to munch on ;-) :p ........................ it is onthing incredibly deep or profound ...................... but it is sweet , also an "animal film" if you like animals, and "canada outdoorsy" if you like the outdoors =) , and the music in it is also nice :) ......................... nice music and cinnemtography almost makes a movie anyway ;-) :p ................................ and if you have any children of your own , you will almost surely be garaunteed to tear up at certain parts ( if not practically .............. every scene like i am haha ;-) ..................... i am actually crying watching the "grown geese" waddle around and chase the little girl because they are just so cute !! i am sorry but i have a soft spot for animals :p ................... i've raised a few cats from kittens so seeing ANY baby animals is always a sortv tear jerker for me :p :p ..................... and hey well, i have a human baby as well so dont even get me started on what seeing a newborn baby cry or ANY kind of baby in a movie does to me =) ^_^ ;-) .......................... )
so anyway, that isn't much of a movie review ^_^ .................. but suffice it to say that the movie is about a little girl ( little as in thirteen, which seems quite little to me now :p .................... i remember watching this as a girl and thinking how Big and "grown up" i thought the girl was ..................... HA =D ) ........................ who's Mother dies ( **sniff ** =( ) is sent to live with her Father who is something like a crazy inventor, and she adopts some orphaned "goose eggs" which she decides to raise and care for and in the end much somehow manage to get them to "Fly South" for the winter ................. Hence "Fly Away Home" ................... and that's basically it :) ......................

p.s it's been a bit of a movie day today so far .................... we also got out a couple old favorites, "A Little Princess" and "the Secret Garden" .............. and watched most of the first and part of the second .................... Angelina is now watching "Dragon Tales" on tellevision .............. but also enjoying the "geese" in my movie ................ hehe ..................... and daddy is playing his video game :) .................. as for the kittens .................. well i believe that they are napping :) ................... what better to do on a hot sleepy afternoon ?? ;)
p.s. i can't wait til it stops being so HOT !! 0_o =/ =/
